This day-trading it's just about ''lying'' the new managers who don't know the players price(most of the times i see the buyers are new managers) and end wasting their money in players that aren't worth more than 10-20k

I don't know his skills, but 195k DMI at Proficient GS indicates this player's virtual salary probably doesn't exceed 17-18k.

Sure, if it's still kind of reasonable, we won't do anything usually. But that's all that can be done imho. In such an environment there are always newbies who tend too pay too much.

I agree with LA-Koperboy, the price range is so wide, i'm not talking/referring to non-legal transfers.

It's a common day-trading move i see, but from my pov it's not good for the new managers that they end paying a lot of money for rookies that aren't worth.

The gm's as a managers of their team they also do this day-trading moves(or at least i saw some doing it) or you agree that if 1 manager buy 1 rookie for 10k and sells it for 150k it's good for the game?(i'm not referring to non-legal moves ¡ )

PS: This is just an example that the transfer list we have is really on bad shape, offer&demand is far from reach an equilibrium atm and on next season it will be worst with all the 31-32 year old players that have high potential for really less price than their worth

It actually works this way so that taxes is of little significance: at the start of the season everyone is dumping their rookies on the market so that many of them are sold very cheaply. They are so cheap that if you pay enough attention, you can easily pick up a few 18 yo with 7 potential or 19 yo with 8+ potential at a 1-20k with decent stats. As the season progress the supply of 18-19 trainees dries up. Then those who stocked up these youngsters (many of them got 10 or even more) could start selling them for 100k+ (some even close to 300k), and mostly purchased by new managers who know too little about players prices and are looking to buy someone to train.

To sum up, the purchase price is dirt cheap. There is little upkeep in wages. Taxes doesn't matter because the profit margin (from a few k to 100k+) is too big. Nearly guaranteed profit with little input and skill. There is really very little downside for doing this. Sadly this has already become a well known strategy by many players around me and in China. But I refuse to do this. Now the question: does it sound alright to you?

Yes, I think I am. As is a lot of other managers who have been playing BB for far shorter period than him. Despite playing BB for 14 seasons, he is still in D.V with one short trip to D.III in his whole BB career. This said, I don't want to say he's less capable than others; he probably just isn't involved in BB as we are.

if he had near 2M for wasting them, its sure that he has experience in game

I don't think amount of money tells you how experienced someone is in this game.

You don't know why young players with high potential are valued? Because they can become better players than those with lower potential?

Of course I answered my own question. I don't know why are you getting so defensive. If you say you don't know why young players with high potential are valued while playing the game twice as long as I have, then something has to be wrong I guess.

That's why I don't post in forums all that often nowadays...lots of people who think they are smart and get all defensive when you prove them wrong because you know more about the game than they do. But they were playing from season 3/4/5 and I'm playing from season 12, yay, what do I know!
