I'm going to take your suggestion to mix it up more on scrimmages to give some of the younger guys some experience. I think I will prioritize for guys that have been getting pops. Maybe I can make it so that guys who are getting pops recently are prioritized for playing time in scrimmages. That should be a good reward for the effort.

Remember: scrimmages impact rankings, and rankings impact future games. Sure: reward, but don't sacrifice.
Additionally, scrimmages are an opportunity to try out different tactics.

Nice win this week against Indonesia 135-123. We lost to them in a scrimmage last season by 12 points. Great to see us flip this around.

A couple key points from this game:

Free-throws: We shot 83% from the line. A couple seasons ago I was complaining about our poor free throw shooting. We've made good progress here and has been decent all season.

3-point shooting: We shot 48% (17 of 35) on 3-pointers. I targeted to go after their weaker outside defense and this paid off well. With the development of our guards we are now able to make a strong showing with many different offensive strategies. This is a great asset.

And as a I mentioned before, game shapes were very good for us.

According to the game log:

Both teams played at the same effort level.

No bro: I've used normal against some other teams, you choose the right way to take it easy....

Don't know if you've seen the matchup rating of the match...

Wolph? Just because someone loses interest in a team, doesn't automatically make them a farm team.

I appreciate that you're back, and trying to train players... but the whole Chicken Little schtick doesn't really help anyone.
