Yeah, but the point stands - why should they be able to have a chance to catch up?

The whole situation is rather balanced now. 18 year olds will still be favored, and if there's 19yolds that cant be cought up to it isn't a bad thing.

Buffing 18 year olds would just make 95% of 19 year olds worthless again.

heres a link from Training Simulator... Both Samples result here here gathere after their U21 Stint (22 yo)... You are correct there Sir that 19 Yo have the upper hand but... we have not taken yet into account the Youth Trainer's contribution here... 18 Yo will get 2 Seasons while 19 yo will only get 1...

But I also Agree with you sir that the Max TSP of a 19 Yo Draftee should not be the Max TSP of 18 Yo +20 heres a link to my response on the other thread (Increasing 19 y.o. draftees' max starting skill to 9) support you:
(309522.66)

I Quote:

the Starting TSP of the 19 y/os Draftees... could be the:

raise the Minimum Starting TSP to the Median of the Fully Trained 18 y/os turning 19 Rause the Maximum starting TSP to the Lowest Starting TSP of the Top 50% of the Season's Draft Class + 15 Skill points

If an error occurs reciprocate

19 yo Draftees Skills can be upto 9s but TSP should not exceed Top 18 yo TSP + 15

Yeah, but you still fail to answer my question.

Why should they be able to catch up?

The preference comes to 18 year olds, not because they're faster to train, but from them being a more consistent way of training.

You seem to be forgetting, that the floor of the 19 year olds, hasn't been changed. So when you draft 19yo players you can still get a 19yo with the skills of an 18yo.

And the fact that you're making this case without having the numbers of future average 19yo TSP is outrageous.

I agree. I had a manager fire a 19yr old Superstar just because he was 19. The dude had good starting skills. His only flaw was that he was 19.

Yes, that was exactly the main point of this change.

You draft 19yo players with a bigger risk - either it's complete garbage, or it's better than 18yo. And it's not even a real 50/50, since most of the 19yo will still be worse than 18yo.

Having 5 uncatchable 19yo per draft is completely fine.

And a free alternative? Do you even comprehend what you're saying? Those 19y olds will cost a lot more than the 18 year olds.

And competetiveness? Excuse me? The market is empty as hell, and even garbage 22yolds cost 1kk+. The more people train, the better for the competetive aspect of the game.

You have given a training simmulation, which does not contribute to this discussion in any way shape or form.

I repeat once again - your case can only be made knowing how many above average 19 year olds we can expect. Can your "calculations" answer this question? No. Case closed due to lack of supporting evidence.
