Ok, I've managed to shift a lot of the processing off-site, so I've re-linked a bunch of the analysis pages. There's a possibility there's still too much being done on this server, though, so we'll have to monitor things for a little while before I commit that these are 'permanent'.
Btw, the trade-off for shifting processing off-site is that it means the analysis is being done based on a cache of the data. Which means that it won't update automatically to reflect each week's data. That shouldn't really be a huge issue, as the data is relatively stable at this point, but I don't want people frantically checking every Friday and getting worried when nothing changes. The process of updating the cached version is a bit involved, so I'm guessing I'll do it once or twice per season.
Speaking of the data being relatively stable, in building the cache today, I saw that we now have over 111,000 player-weeks of data (that is, >111,000 entries in which a player received at least 1 minute at a trained position). That's a HUGE amount of data, so kudos to everyone who's participated, and thanks!
As a reminder, there are 4 analysis pages available (a summary one, which shows the rate of training as a function of height, a table that shows everything for players within the age/height range you select, and decline-with-age plot which is VERY stable, and a trainer-level plot which somehow still sucks). There's also a blog post up on the elastic effect.
So enjoy, and if you haven't participated yet and want to see the data we've been collecting, check out the front page on the link in the first post of this thread for instructions on how to contribute!
