You missed the point, which I guess was to be expected.

And yeah, I knew all that about Fitch. Except that Lavina is also a shooting guard, even though he's old now.

Let's talk about a disadvantage of being in a small country. I can't find any good Japanese players on the market so here I am winning games and only making 63,000 a week in merchandise. In fact, at one time this season I had 4 Spanish players on my team because the market is flooded with them. I would love to have 5 or 6 Japanese players on my team but there are just none out there. So let's stop talking about taking money away from the small country users, that is just wrong. So the next time you wake up on Monday morning and see a $140,000 next to your merchandise on your economic page..Just smile and be glad you are in a big country.

Yeah - I'm curious to learn what 4 local NT players nets you... 5 mixed bag Internationals and 1 Local gets you $127k ish. Im sure i saw somewhere numbers around the $180k mark for 3-4 locals? Anyone in that luxury position (Hostivar maybe?)

WTF..Whose titty do I have to suck on to get that kind of cash Mr. Superfly? Even Stunners with his 6 locals( two are just scrimmage fillers) only gets like $82,000 a week.

It's not just being a local player that gets you cash. It's also the quality of the player, whether or not you drafted him, and whether or not he is on a national team. So a drafted player who is the star of the NT and leading your league in scoring, rebounding, and assists would probably bring in the most dough in merch, while a BB developer from a country on the far side of the world who plays 3 minutes a week in a scrimmage would probably bring in the least.

The real problem is that playing in countries like Japan and Nigeria is boring. Those nations never erupts as users, because we know that there is a team that kills the championship.

You can say everything, but there's a cycle that makes them, if not broken monopolies in their country.

Simplified:

Do you have a roster that no one can afford, then you win practically forever, so you can fill huge stadiums (they have pocketed almost certain in cup and BBB), and have the money to keep a roster that no opponent can get!

This is my vision of the reality and I think the BB will fix it otherwise the game will not grow anymore.

IMHO

I agree with you. I think that when a team wins BB3( SuperFly from Japan, BC Tooros from Canada) I think they should not be allowed to win the cup anymore. It has been 4 seasons since Japan has had two teams in the BB3. If past winners have an automatic birth in the BB3, I don't see the need for them to be allowed to win the double again( league OK, CUP NO). Why not share the wealth/ fun.I know that I would watch the BB3 on Wednesday night if there were two teams from Japan in it.Just my opinion. Peace

Nicely put. I even gave you 5 balls for your reply. I am trying my hardest but a season 7 team going up against a season 3 team..That is like mission impossible. I do give BC Toroos a lot of respect for letting his fellow countrymen battle it out in the cup for a shot at the big time. Even with the loss in income...My new manager of the year...Peace

I will give him respect no matter what because of all the B3 wins behind him. But I personally would like to see him try to win the final on Thursday.

I like what Toroos is doing too. He is giving the chance to an other team to participate to BBB. I wish more dynasties like him to follow his example...
