they took our suggestions and their knowledge and evolved the game before it was too late

No they didn't. They saw things were getting out of control and made a rushed move to try and bring things back to normal.

Now, some flaws are dissipating and man does not like losing his advantage does he?

You obviously don't understand what anyone here has been saying at all. The people who benefitted the most from the old system will actually become even stronger now. The top div I teams will still pull in a lot of money but the teams that are in the bottom half of the top divisoins will have no way to compete with them.

Did anyone write up a five paragraph order on how to improve the site and mitigate issues? Than isn't BBs the best possible? Theoretically yes, there could be a better one, but it doesn't exist in our known BB world does it?

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. Are you claiming that unless someone writes up a detailed outline then no suggestion has been made?

You sound like some sort of half baked philosophy student who doesn't quite get it. I wonder if you even realize how ridiculous it is to say that no suggestions exist because none have been formally set out.

If we don't talk about things we can never get the best solution.

No-one wrote 5 paragraphs, because it really takes 5 lines to suggest an alternative that's at least arguably viable. You must have missed my 20 posts.

It's real easy. Introduce the 'tax' as an arena maintenance cost. If you feel that DIII and lower have no excess income, don't implement maintenance there. But I am still waiting for a good reason why Tooroo should be treated the same as some poor punk with 7,500 arena who just promoted to DI, and was surprised with the news that in 5 days he'll lose 40% of his income, and will be compensated with extra attendance which his arena cannot absorb.

Yes, we must talk about them and that's what we are doing.

I never went to college. I joined the Marines.

How can you be so sure this will further widen the gap?

So they opened the site and said, "omg, things are waaay out of control, we need to change something now, before dinner!" Hardly.

It's probably a mixture of both our theories, and we'll disagree until azure hits our cheeks.

There's is the best.I haven't seen a better one, have you?. So until we get into season six, there's no point in arguing something that may not happen. Just go with the flow.

You might be closer to the truth than you think.

speeding it up is one thing and can only probably be a short term cure for the situation because if they revert it back surely the late comers or newbies would probably struggle more than those who played early and have the speed training.

if its temporary i tell you youll make a big gap or a worm hole there, speed training can only come to an extent to the skill level of how much can be reach so it can be applied to all and all the the time.

dont you think its funny at times that a player who has atricious skills and given playing time and training on that skill with a level 10 would evcen at times take you 2-3 weeks on a 19-21 years old. i mean next level of atricious i think is awful . . . even in the state of awful you still have a hard time getting there.

either your trainer sucks or probably that player is really . . . . , as if awful can help a lot in your skills ( yeah i know its much better than atricious )

==================================================

are there new changes? i cant understand it anymore with all the fuzz brought, ( sorry im really lost )

==================================================

truthfully, with the changes taking in place and money is going to be harder to get, a lot of teams will take seriously the cup and the bb3 challenge.

but i think teams that can adjust surely and fast or probably dominate are still the well establish teams. because they already created a gap to the normal teams imagine they earn 10 million compare to the normal of how much?

even they try to buy 2-3 strong players that would still make them more easy to balance their team, geessshhhh . . . . and guess what probably . . . and i say probably they wouldnt have any problem paying his players.

==================================================

the control shouldnt be how would money come in to teams, but how is the money manage or dealt with in the managers pockets.

In about a week or 2, 3 I will be able to tell you if it is THAT bad for lower DI teams...

please don't change the speed of training again and again, because someone have a great player just because the speed was faster or the other spend a lot of time to develop a player and than should be the speed back again

..that is f*cking irritating, the speed should be constant and NEVER change, otherwise it will damage someone everytime

As I said earlier on I do not find this solution ideal, however I think was the only real viabel solution when performed in panic mode.

Let me take myself as an example. My team is only 2.5 seasons old and I have just
promoted to the sewish DI. My wonderful arena, estadio de vinil, is a tiny arena that takes only 6060 attendants. The reason for this is that I have considered this to be the best strategy to build up my team.

Now with the rule changes a should probably have a bigger arena, but until now I have considered it to be the best shoice for my team. Thus, if my decision was right I now how more money to invest in arena expansion than I would otherwise have, if I was wrong I have less. Of course, some of this money is invested in players, as I thought this to be the best stratagy. The good thing with this is that if I consider a big arena to be more important than good players I can now sell a player and use this money for arena expansion. I.e. I have the possibility to adapt to the new rules.

On the other hand other teams might have chosen to expand their arena instead, because they thoght that to be the best strategy. Suppose that BB would have decided upon an arena tax instead, then these teams would be immediately hurt as their money is already invested in the arena and the only way to adapt to the new rules would be to remove seats from thir arena. Thus, they would need to throw away money and would have no real possibility to adapt to the change.

BB could of course have decided to give mney back on arena downsizing, but that would require some anlysis to make it work well, and would also be contraproductive as it would have made money available for the transfer.

Thus, in panic mode the current choice was better than arena taxation.

The point of telling people it is a game is to suggest that their perspective has become a bit skewed. That perhaps folks should wait and see before jumping down the creators' throats or calling the game out for being flawed, which is what I tried to convey by posting a short history of this game's mother, Hattrick.

You are the one who interpreted my post to mean that I am against expression. You were 100% wrong with your interpretation. My post had nothing to do with expression or acceptance of discussion or not. You interpreted it that way.

Yes I can suddenly assume anything I want. That is the glory and folly of assumption. Just as you can suddenly assume I am a fascist gamer who abhors freedom of discussion.

And just what brilliant contributions have you offered? Your first two posts were woe-is-me sob stories of how hard your team is going to be hit ( even though you try to lessen your whining by saying it's not really sour grapes, even though it most certainly is), then some hysterical responses to others' posts with some gratuitous smileys thrown in, then a trite capitulation to BB-Charles' response to you, then a shift into sardonic, mean-spirited replies to people. Keep up the expression!

Alas, I too am devolving into slings and arrows. I am sorry for suggesting it is a game. Personally, I have no problem with the change. Two weeks is plenty of time to sell your best player and get a nest egg to pay expenses if you think you won't be able to handle the hardship. I wish all of you who choose to do so good luck with your plans for demotion.
