Good call Iwen, yes seeing as he is already kind of "on my team" here in the real league I would be happy to have him on my team in the PL, the angry camel too! If anyone is interested in our Aussie PL next season just go to the league IV.7 forums, find a thread 900 posts long and jump to the end. That will give you an idea how active our PL is, probably more fun than the real league!

Yeah, I'd definitely be keen on the private league. Looks very active and fun. I'm going to be pretty inactive over the next 6 or so weeks as I am going to be travelling on the other side of the world and won't be able to log in whenever I want, but your looking to start your next season in about 7 weeks right? I may be able to make it for that.

Where are you going? I am also travelling soon, going with a group to Japan should be awesome but I am sure my team will suffer a great deal. The Pl is 15 weeks long and 2 weeks of finals, we just had week 8 so 7 +2 weeks to go means you will be perfect. Do be aware that we will have probably 2 divisions and I don't know yet if there will be prize support of our division 2.

I'm heading over to Europe. Going to do some backpacking for a bit over a month and then live in the UK, so I'll be back with a regular internet connection by the time the PL starts, but will be living in the UK timezone, so probably wouldn't be logging in until a few hours after the games have finished. Shouldn't be an issue though, and I wouldn't really be expecting any prizes anyway, just sounds like a fun league and that's enough for me, count me in!

Solid looking pickup there - is that because we're about to play, and you thought you needed another good player? I understand that, I am fearsome.

Seriously though - undefeated, and then you picked him up - other teams would be a little concerned by that, I think...

Yes easy to say undefeated so why spend another $1.1 million on another amazing player (according to Buzzer Control Sergio is actually the best player on my team by quite a margain) well I really just wanted to get even more ready for next season and prices are just so low at the moment - this guy would have cost me double last season. So no he isn't really directed against anyone this season but I was back in the black making about 35k a week with two million in the bank, and I just wanted to lock in another division II standard guy - hopefully for next season, but also as insurance against some crippling injury to Rafael "The Devil" in the finals, so even if that happens I have another tier one big man to stare down my opponents bigs.

On a different matter, have you posted in our PL signup thread in the IV.7 forum? I can't remember. I have just gotten back from filming a rock video and am covered with blood and a bit out of it at the moment.

All star team is up and I must say I am surprised by some things. Nice that I get 3 starters but funny that Oliver who I consider my 2nd best player wasn't either a starter or a backup. Also funny that I had 4 of the 5 3rd place guys. While my bias is obvious I do think that the Great 8 does have a chance, even though on paper the Big 8 has a massive advantage in salaries.

For example as SG
Miguel Ángel Cuello (8022400) Shooting Guard Weekly salary: $ 24 404 against my Mo Ruoqing (8157511) Shooting Guard Weekly salary: $ 8 275

or at SF

Sam Clune (8158412) Small Forward Weekly salary: $ 36 424 towers over Ayasha Sulayman Ansari (4798767) Small Forward Weekly salary: $ 14 970

Overall the starting salaries are about $112 to $84, take out the Cs (including our big budget man Rafael "The Devil" Palencia) and it is $85 to $44, ouch!

On a completly different note, have a look at the front page of Australia. Who do you see leading the ENTIRE NATION in scoring? None other than the Marmots Sam.

Leaders: Points per game: 34.1 by Sam Clune

Seems funny, but earlier in the season Oliver was there when he was averaging 40+ for the first two weeks of the season.

Haha, go Clune. It does make it kind of easy, though, when you are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd option on offence.

Also, I'm surprised by how well O'Daire went in the All-Star game - rating of 10!

Anyhow... it's the game of the season up next.

The Sweaty Steamers have spent up big on a guy with a big salary. The question is - will his average of 4 fouls per game prove damaging? He gets fouled out a lot...
