A particularly well-rounded player will continue to receive cross-training but will see a much lower reduction in primary skill training, while a particularly one-dimensional player will see a larger loss.

In the past well-rounded players benefited when training one of their higher trained skills by having with less drag from higher, well rounded secondary skills. This seems to be static or accentuated within the new system.

No. Explain why you think it's the worst innovation of the game. It could be a worthwhile discussion for once.

Your logo might be my laugh of the week :))))

Have you ever done some ball-handling exercises?

Did you improve in shot blocking?!

No, but I didn't improve in ball-handling either because I played as a SF that week.

i think any change that encourages a team to put players out of position for training is a poor one. it will encourage teams to be less competitive on the court and more focused on training.

im tanking because it's so beneficial financially and for training, but i don't think it benefits the game just because its good for my team.

i'm not sure that this is the case here, if anything i think it will allow teams to get those cross-training pops (even if its random) that would encourage them to get training while keeping the focus on winning games.

you're point about players built out of the old training model is also concerning, but it's a bit to early to say.
