Singapore Cup, Season 18: Round 5
bad season for div 2.1.. maybe they gt jealous?
4th round ended and so is most of us.. Compare to last season, this season turn out to be something weird.. During this Singapore cup, many of us have to fight each other under same div.. trying to kill each other off without fighting against other div people.
FuTureSG vs. weRchamp 98 - 108
Ever since older brother get injure, futureSG has some serious problem on injure player.. After this match even his SG Pedro Ribeiro gt injure.. which left him 6 fighting strong and some no threat player... This is another factor that cause him the game. FutureSG able to maintain a close gap with werChamp till 4th quarter, the net start to look smaller for them, as they slowly lose out the gap. Local product Soh Qiang Leong able to lead the team with 12 rebound, 3 off and 30 pts. But still unable to stop the super big man Nunzio Menaballi with 28pts, 15 rebound and 6 off and 2 block!.
Chai Chee vs. HoopMagical 112 - 68
HoopMagical just dont seem to a threat for chai chee. As they easy cruise through round 4th.. As Yiannakis Sarlis dish out 20pts a strong offensive. 4th quarter is a sensentional quarter for them as they able to hold them for only 9 pts while they able to dish out 39pts OMG !!! next stop they will be facing JIE of team.. last season super strong team.
StarSG vs. Flyer sonic 64 - 49
A embarrassing match. Even the manager try to avoid the reporter when he saw us. :(.. Knowing that this week have a worse week which they need to face chai chee and futureSG, flyersonic decide to send out his bench to handle the game.. thinking as home ground should be able to show some win. However thing turn out to be a disaster for them. As they create a new history of lowest pt get for 1st and 4th quarter. Some of the fan are even shouting where are all the starter poster... The manager only left a words saying "cup over, let focus on this season playoff run!"..
Pekanbaru Jaguars vs. Final Fantasy XIII 81 - 67
They tot they did it.. So am i. Having a good start with a 4 pt diff till 2nd half, final fantasy tot they might win this game.. however thing dont look too good at 4th quarter, when jaguars show why they are the SBBL team. As they trying to extend the lead to 10 more pt till final fantasy decide to stop chasing them.. Giuseppe Chiari bought last season showing some of his 32yo skill and contribute 15 pts and 5 assist against the giant. for full detail report check out at the singapore forum..
Round 5 of the match div 2.1 left with 2 team with good and bad news.
good news one of them will surly advance, bad news, they facing each other.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ORGANIZER!!!
Lets hope next season will be a better season for div 2.1 to stand in again.
Cha chee vs Jie of team battle of own brother
look out of this 2 team as they will treat this match as a normal league match as might send out full force against each other.
