I think, I have another bug with the coaches player selection.

In this game (3982774), I'm pretty sure, that I selected "strictly follow depth chart", and had only one point guard selected (that's what it also says, when I copy the lineup for next game). It looks like at least 4 guys played in that position. I also had 3 not selected guys playing as a SG.

I'm going to call this one a bug.

Canadian tournament semi-final, (3981256), just over a minute left to play: (/BBWeb/reportmatch.aspx?matchid=3981256&realTim...). I'm down 3 and the opponent has the ball. I commit two quick fouls (the predictable 2-second fouls, so I know they were intentional), putting an 82% shooter on the line.

There's more than a minute left! It's a one-possession game. There's no debate here. That is not a foul situation, period.

Edit: Not possible to prove this one from here, but I suspect that when my SG "force[d] up a three" just before those fouls, that was also a decision of the game engine, deciding that I needed threes when, again, that's not the case. Still plenty of time left.

First I want to remind you to look into that:
I found another Bug which increases the fouls made.

(2286958) about 1:21 before the end of the game. 4 fouls in 5 seconds by my opponent and 2 fouls by one player ;-)

I know you have trouble with the server which you have to solve first. But I just wanted to remind you. Than I had another Problem in my last Scrimmage (3984586). The engine thought I play TIE. I chose a Line-up of a game in which I actually played TIE but this should have no effect on the Scrimmage.

To all managers: You must not try this, because it had no positive effect on my enthusiasm.

Hi,

My semi final defeat (3981154)

played Normal with 10 enthusiasm
against a CT with 4 Enthusiasm

lost by 15.
this only demonstrates that enthusiasm doesn't work as expected or the engine is still not very deterministic.
Otherwise, I can't explain the terrible Field goal percentage, inside and outside even with much better offensive flow. Furthermore, he took 3 rebounds less than i did, although he's 1 whole level below in Rebounds.

thanks,
Maybe next season I'll eventually get this cup...

at least his defense-ratings matched your attack-ratings, also i think homeadvantage gives a little fg-percentage boost.

As far as I know home court advantage is reflected on the team's ratings.
I know his defense matched my attack, but it also happened the the way around.
Nevertheless his FGP was better. This can only mean a level 10 enthusiasm is pretty worthless.

HCA is not reflected in the ratings.

i'm not so shocked at that result actually... we didn't say we removed the randomness.. we simply reduced it, and looking at that game its not clear to me that you should have won.

those are two different decisions... i'll take a look though. i did put in the logic that you should foul when you don't have enough fouls to get to the bonus when you are down towards the end, but maybe i have an off by one error and it was fouling one too many times... anyway i'll look into it.

I'll second this concern re: scrimmage intensity. For example, in this game (3984714) it says I put more effort into the game than my opponent. I thought you couldn't set scrimmage intensity, and therefore we should be at the same effort? Also, I'd rather not be normal-ing my scrimmages if it's going to bring down my enthusiam (or prevent it from going up).

Any clarification?

I had this situation in my PL today.

My opponent is down by one possession with a about a minute left in 4Q and only 2 team fouls. They foul twice immediately to get to 4 team fouls, then fouled immediately again to put my SG on the line.

Was the 3rd consecutive foul what you intended with them only down one possesion and about 50-60 seconds left?
