well, that was just a waste. The highest potential in the draft. And with just a bit of training (any training) he'd have been worth way more. I'm feeling bad that I didn't buy him ... at least I wouldn't have fired him ...

Well, that wasn't too bad against a WR 1 China. Great tactics - and almost no old players on the roster ... the future looks definitely bright

And also good job with the U21, statsman. With a bit of luck (e.g. wrong GDP by Columbia etc.) you could have even sneaked away with a win. And with your limited resources you're doing a fantastic job, both of you.

Well it's a start to another season at the National level. We are on a bit of a short roster to being with, but i'm confident that will increase in time. Notice how most of our players are 20 and below? only two 21 year olds. Keep up the training everybody! next season will be our time!!!
As for this game, nothing to write home about. Just a run on f the mill start of the season. We gdp them, they gdp us (because we're clearly inside heavy), we got homecourt advantage, me not willing to go all out and ruin our enthusiasm for the rest of the season. So we end up with a defensive affair. Not a lopsided loss, but not a narrow loss either.
So that's where we stand at the moment. Next week against an even tougher Belgium squad. Hope we can keep up. Maybe we call up one or two more rookies.

I was going to do a live broadcast for the game because I knew it was going to be exciting, but I got tied up with holiday plans. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! And what a gift we received! =)
I tried to rewatch the game and do a re-broadcast, but it's lost its excitement. Though I think if I had broadcast live, I would have thrown a brick at my monitor! >=T
The highlights. We overcame a 15 point deficit after the first quarter! we were down 11-26 after 12 minutes. I thought the guys have called it quits. But we stayed in it and clawed back with a dominating 2nd quarter. I wonder what the results might have been had I played 'Look Inside'. ;) Andorra coach had gdp'd me to play look inside, we overcame the 'inside focus' guess. And thirdly. We took this game while on the road. That's a victory in itself.

good job to all those training players. We only have 2 21 year olds on this team. That just goes to say how strong we'll be next season. So keep up to good work! We only took 1 bad season to rebuild us back into competitor
