None of the outside players in the losing teams have low OD, on the contrary they are good outside defenders.
You are probably talking about the OD team rating which is not directly involved in determining the match outcome. And of course, your idea would also work on the other side. The inside team OD is also making a double role: decreasing the quality of the shots taken by the outside team and preventing them to pass the ball each other. So finally, following your argument we have arrived to a nice and "unexpected" conclusion... : Inside teams need to have good outside defense to be competitive. Fantastic! ;-)

And I would add that good passing would make them much stronger towards the 3-2 zone. And if their C and PF have good passing skill, then who will stop them passing the ball each other? An outside team would need to train OD for their C and PFs?

Finally, I don´t know any "cheap" outside team. Maybe you buy players in another transfer list, because I think a good PG with a nice level of passing, jump shot, jump range and outside defense is not what I'd call "cheap".

i think OD is not as effective for stopping the outside shots compared to its effect of stopping the inside attacks.

This is the most funny thing I have heard for a long time, and clearly demonstrate that you are right.
I assume that a top team is able to pay $1M a week for the player salaries..

The most expensive team in the spanish first division costs 626k $/week and the average income is $ 694 920. So I don´t see where will you find the money to buy those "cheap" players.

Jump Shot: legendary Jump Range: sensational
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: prominent
Driving: atrocious Passing: legendary
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: atrocious

Just to buy a 18yo player able to reach these skills with training would cost you a lot. With a lot of patient you will need "a few" seasons reach those levels.
You have another option, which is to buy such player on the transfer list. The only problem is they don´t exist and the few which are similar would cost you about 9-10 millions $. So you need 3 = 30 millions. This is not my idea of "cheap" things.

I´m done with this discussion. It has been a pleasure. Good luck.

First, just say that the examples you gave are not close to be realistic or even efective (not specific SF, unbalanced SG and PG.. unbalanced center), but playing to your game...

Just say that those players you posted easily can be beaten by some of these:

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: prominent
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: marvelous
Driving: marvelous Passing: marvelous
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.:respectable
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: respectable

and some of these:

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: respectable Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: marvelous Inside Def.:respectable
Rebounding: legendary Shot Blocking: respectable

LI 3-2

which I really think that are cheaper than yours. And effective. A pity that we cant test it : )

I dont think people are conservative about criticism, I just think the BBs answered this thread like 250 posts ago.....

they also said that they are happy with the current draft system. That won't stop me from considering it crappy :)

Honestly I don't think this match is related with the power of outside tactic, don't you think?
Zisvan has a great team and I'm sure he didn't play with the best roster, he wasn't at home and then imho there is still a good % of random in this game. 1+1+1= zisvan out but he didn't play against motion of r&g
