It would be interesting to see a number of teams that signed on in the last 2 weeks number.

445 managers signed up in the last 7 days. I can't unfortunately tell you how many signed up in the previous 7 days but its likely to be close to the same number.

singed on (in) not up.

Apologies. That would certainly be an interesting number.

The number will not fluctuate radically and it will also be much much lower than 25k or whatever. It will probably be closer to 10 or 15k.

I certainly agree there are never as many truly active users as the total suggest. However, I'd never be bold enough to guess at a figure that can only ever be completely misleading.

Its undeniable that we are losing players. I've no idea where you get the idea that we've lost a thousand in two weeks. Overdramatising the drop off does no one any good. Not quite sure how many we lost last week, but the week before it was a loss of ten players.

The drop last week was 46, meaning for two weeks it was 56. A tad short of 2000. To put this in some kind of perspective, if we take an average of 25 quitters a week, then some time during the season 990 the last person will quit buzzerbeater. Or if we take the bigger figure and use that to dramatically extrapolate, then we come up with season 550 when the last person leaves.

Almost brings tears to the eyes knowing the end is so close.

The worst part is I expect to still be in d2 in season 550 and if I'm NT manager then, I probably still won't have ever beaten Italy.

Forgive the triple post now but there's an embarrassing error in the above post, which I won't edit, as I'm sure noticing it will cause some amusement.

Notwithstanding the mistake above, I stand by the point I make that if buzzerbeater is dying, its doing so very slowly. (Though perhaps not quite as slowly as my maths above makes out!)

I don't have the exact numbers, but tt's around 20.000 active users in recent days.

The opening page has this this evening: "Active Teams: 24190"
Not sure how truly active a team has to be to be counted, but that's a lot of teams.

What other manager games do you play?

Does anyone play this:

Saw it on NBA.com today and thought it looked interesting.
