Its natural selection and there is no selection in getting run over by a pokemon player.
The lion very well does select the weakest gazelle out of the herd because its the easiest prey.

However, if you consider pokemon driving a fundamental shift in general environmental conditions (like ice ages) instead of crazy incidents then yes, the ones that cant adapt and still cross the streets with green traffic ligths trusting the sanity of the approaching car driver could be removed from the gene pool by natural selection.

I guess I'm the crazy one here then for not just inherently trusting other people to obey traffic laws, not be sleep deprived, not be drunk, not be texting, not drop their cigarette and burn themselves etc. I'm the crazy one for being aware of my surroundings?

What makes the "weakest gazelle" the easiest prey?

Is it *always* the "slowest" gazelle, or is it possible, just *possible* that sometimes, its the gazelle that is last to notice that there is danger? Do you not think people's ability to recognize or sense danger is involved here? Are you not looking in your rear view mirror while driving to see if the person behind you is on their phone? Are you not maintaining a safe distance from the driver in front of you in case they decide to... Let's just say swerve across 3 lanes of highway into a ditch, get out of their car, and run about 10 yards from it to try and catch a Pokemon when it was 8:47pm on a Sunday night and you're on a major freeway going around 80 miles per hour or roughly 129 kilometers per hour?

I guess for me it's just an extension of what you're taught as a girl, being aware of your surroundings, what people (guys) are doing and what they're watching, to lessen chances of being assaulted or robbed or raped. So if one isn't just naturally trusting or oblivious to their surroundings more than others it just seems like crazy talk.

Lol are people seriously suggesting to make this game in any shape or form similar to pokemon go? this can not be real.
If you think silly gimmicks will keep people from leaving or bring new people in,you are delusional.

People do not understand jokes or sarcasm through the internet.

Moving on with life is one thing,i too stopped playing this game because i didnt have time,im still back because i love this game.
It is simply not possible that not only 30k people suddenly (over the course of 5 years) decided to leave the game because they didnt have time, and not only that, the game didnt manage to bring even a small percentage of that number of new people back.It just doesnt work this way, something must have gone wrong.

Maybe the game managed 50k people through advertisement and then they stopped advertising or something similar, you cant just lose over half of the population without something going wrong. Or somehow the game failed to attract new players, for whatever reason.

The thing is,when you have a dangerous and steady decline in users you have to do something, and there hasnt been anything serious done like i said very little has changed in the game. Maybe its not about changing something in-game but some other factor,im in no position to know how it works, but surely if the people in charge of this game actually cared they would have done something even after a big drop in user base.

I can tell you that joining a game that has a small declining user base is not very attractive, especially when you have seen how populated it was once.

Oh and joining the game for whatever reason is a complicated process for whatever reason (no reason at all). I joined twice and got declined for "not providing enough information"

I tried to contact ANYBODY from here, and the only way of contact is twitter... TWITTER... which i sent a tweet and i never even got a reply as to why i was getting declined.

There are some fundamental things wrong with the game, somebody else in my shoes wouldnt even try to sign up a second time. I know it might sound surprising but actually have to put effort to make your product even slightly good.

Stamford Snow Leopards
A game with 20k users looks like a very healthy active game to me. How many games like this have more than that? I don't think people will see that number and be put off at all.

Also, it's no longer declining. (it was, a little, but very slowly, and now the numbers are going back up again...) The old 50k figure is irrelevent really.

(I still play a cycling management game that has only 200 users left, but it's great! Just for some reason doesn't attract/keep new people or something)

I dont think there should even be a waiting time before you can sign in. Most websites you sign up,you confirm your email and you are logged in.

In my case i signed up first time,i was able to login immediately,i had a look on my team, released some players,i log off, next day i try to log in and it says my team was denied.

Then i sign up again, but now im not able to log in immediately, have to wait for review. My sign up gets denied.

Third time i sign up,cant login immediately, next day im able to login.

You know why i was denied? Because i used an english name on my full name. UNBELIEVABLE.

I can not comprehend why did such a thing happen twice,i can not have my name in english but only in my own language. Thats so unnecessary i can not even put it to words.

I literally put the exact same things into the fields every time except the third time i put my name in greek.

I dont know if anybody else had that problem but imagine if they did, there is no way they would figure out what they were doing wrong AND THEY WOULDNT BE ABLE TO CONTACT ANYBODY ABOUT IT.

Can you imagine losing sing ups because of such a reason?

Instead i put a random greek name in english letters.

I assume that you cant have you full name the same as the manager name? I only now came to the realization that this is probably the reason i was getting denied.

But nonetheless it was never explained to me other than a very generic response (not enough information provided,or something),i tried to contact somebody and got no response.

Please add somewhere an actual contact form that is check daily, you can not run any kind of website without having contact information.

Anyway lets not get off topic.
