I agree with your advice. But your trainer made me think about the costs of trainers generally. I notice that everyone seems to pay a lot for Superior and Exceptional trainers. For example you paid $500K with a $16K salary for a superior trainer. Let's compare that with just paying $5K for a $50K salary superior trainer which is very doable due to the higher salary.

Through 10 weeks, without considering raises:

you've paid $500K + $160K = $660K.
Or you could have paid $5K +$500K =$505K

So through 10 weeks you still are not better off. Though raises will be more dramatic for the higher paid trainer, I'd estimate your break even would be around week 15 or so. Now what will be your trainer's salary after 15 weeks? About $30K? Still a good price for a superior trainer which means you could still keep him for another 10 weeks or so? However, you might have been better off if you paid less upfront for your trainer, paid a higher salary, fired him during the all-star week for a basic trainer to train FTs or Stamina, then rehired a higher salary trainer the next week, and did the same for the playoff weeks and off season.
Just a thought.

It's a thought but not very accurate.
Using ur example

500K fee +
16000 salary week 1 +
16320 salary week 2 +
16646 salary week 3 +
16979 salary week 4 +
17319 salary week 5 +
17665 salary week 6 +
18018 salary week 7 +
18378 salary week 8 +
18746 salary week 9 +
19120 salary week 10 =

675191$

On the other hand we have

5000 fee +
50000 salary week 1 +
51000 salary week 2 +
52020 salary week 3 +
53060 salary week 4 +
54121 salary week 5 +
55204 salary week 6 +
56308 salary week 7 +
57434 salary week 8 +
58582 salary week 9 +
59754 salary week 10 =

552483$

3 weeks later he will be making a small profit and has a trainer lvl 5 with 20290$ salary.
One season later he will be gaining a lot by investing in a low salary trainer and he will still have a decent trainer with a decent salary (maybe arround 35K).

Just my 2 cents.

Very nice! Good numbers. Probably well worth it. However if you don't have the $500K to spend, you could buy an expensive trainer for a low bid, then fire him during all star week and train FT/Stamina with the level 1 trainer for $2K salary. Then the week after buy another expensive trainer with a salary again starting at $50K and keep him until the playoffs and then fire him and use a level 1 trainer for 2 weeks for $2K salary.
And, from my experience, someone could get a superior trainer for a very low bid with a salary of 40+. Or an exceptional trainer with a salary of 60+. Now whether it's worth it over just buying an advanced trainer for $50K with a salary of $15K, I'm not sure. Guess it depends on what type of trainees you have and how much money you want to save for your arena and new players.

The way I see it is that we pay for staff in arrears. Aside from the bonus you pay to hire one, you don't actually pay their salary until the next economic update. So, you should view it as payment for services already rendered. Not as painful that way. And, you really should wait until Sunday to release your staff. Get the full benefit from them for the whole week. Just don't buy new staff until Monday or Tuesday.

Just put Parker in the TL for 0. You will have more than 1M in no time. Then and only then u can think of what to do next.

The only way to not go bankrupt is to sell either Fritelli or Parker. You have to put them on the transfer list by tomorrow at the very latest. That way you get the revenue on Sunday. You should be able to get at least $600K for Fritelli probably more, and that would save you from bankruptcy. I'm assuming you have already fired or will fire all your expensive trainers by Sunday as well. Sell Fritelli, fix your trainers and you'll be back making lots of money each week with a positive balance. Or sell Parker for probably $2,000,000 and you'll be reset and have lots of extra money as well.

I think I won't have the time to get money in time to NOT go bankcrupt. If I go bankcrupt, I'll retire. Too bad for me I suppose, I really enjoy the game but anyways...

I, and other posters, have explained in detail exactly how to get out of this mess without stripping your entire team for parts.

I've tried to avoid judgment on this but, your posts (and the constant (sarcasm) that accompanies them) seem to indicate that you still don't believe this mess is your fault. No one but you got you into this trainwreck, no one will get you out of it but you. By the same token, the reason you got here is because you made poor decisions and didn't want to give anything up ("I want a level five trainer for some reason but I don't want to pay anything up front for it! GIMME GIMME GIMME!"), well now its time to right the ship by giving some things up.

The good news is that you have a decent supporting cast from the look of things and you can keep your u21 prospect and still be alright. Just sell Fritelli and can the trainer after the Friday update and you'll be totally fine.

If you posted here asking for help, then listen to chris902.
If you just posted to complain, then go ahead and retire. Lots of people here have offered advice, when none of us had to. I like to offer what limited help i can provide, when possible, because I really like this game and don't want to see people quit, but if you are just going to come back over and over with 'bawwww look at me (sarcasm)' then good riddance.
