I do see the need to trade deadline in some forms of competition, but I guess im a little unsure if its needed for a global competition as such. It very well may be, but I never like the idea of reducing the options that a team has. I am always for more flexibility, because that seems to let the better managers rise to the top, as they can more accurately see what needs to be done, and can more accurately implement that as well.

I think it's needed, just to avoid 1-week-purchase of a player to win every kind of competition
It wouldn't mean that team should stop to compete hard, but I don't see how going on market to buy a 500k beast can be defined "hard" to do
I find harder build a team that you have to sustain for weeks with high salaries than just buy a player the day before a game

1/8 finals(when neutral court games start) could be a good limit?

To be fair - I bought Portocarrero at 13/10/2010, Kun at 01/11/2010, Arentschildt at 07/11/2010, the game was at 01/12/2010 and final is at 08/12/2010. Last player I bought 24 days before semifinal and 31 days before final. Both Kun and Arentshildt played first B3 match after transfer as backup players.
As it was said, the rules allows any transfers. As long as rules are not changed there always be such transfers.
How to change rules?
1) don't allow to use money from bids before deadline (I see this as global problem, not only B3 teams)
2) don't allow to use player in B3 some time after the transfer (f.e. week, month or more?)
3) register players for B3 at the start of the season and don't allow to play bought player after that

Among your ideas,I like the second. However I think there could be many ways to change the situation, the important thing is the awareness that there is something to change

I have no problem with some changes even if I can accept and adapt to any rules, but playing with long term strategy is more comfortable for me.

Rules are the same for everyone, and I think there is no need for any changes.

If I do believe correctly, this was the mighty Superfly's idea. I think he said" Having rosters frozen when you enter the top 64". Any purchase after that would not be allowed to play... I think that is a great idea. I even saw the buying of monsters in some countries cup finals....They bought the player on Tuesday, played in the cup final on Thursday and went right back in the bin to be sold on Sunday..Didn't even have to pay the salary once......It's a crazy system but some people will do anything to get a BB3 bid.....

To avoid not paying salary in that week, can include instant pay when you get that player and after week economic change, not include his salaray, cause you already payed it! So you must atleast pay him once, cause he has been in your team, and he has played!
