And, to Yellow Cake- to make an asinine statement that these things aren't being looked at by GMs because the GMs want to get good players from farm teams is really really lame.
It seems someone had their coffee extra BITTER this morning....
First....A farm team and a team quitting, I really can't tell the difference but when the training is stuck on one position OD training and a PF/C is the only one sucking up those minutes, it's kind of fishy.
My point was this, you guys are players, too. You want to win. Are you going to do research on all the F/As...the answer is NO...there is no time to do this with the current staff size. So seeing you guys bid on these super beast, I have no problem with it, you guys(staff) want to win..Why not bid? But if you go back and look at my post, I didn't use the word FARM TEAM once...It is common practice to have players do 2 seasons of Guard stuff and then get sold to another lower div. team to get trained in the Big boy stuff. These teams are active and don't have more than one account. They are trying to make their NT better..No foul...I have even heard of someone in Japan having a PG built by a lower div. Spanish team...Wrong? I don't think so. Do some farmed F/As slip through the cracks..yes, but a lot less than what Wolph was saying.
F/As come out and everybody gets a crack at them...BBs, GM, my uncle who started playing last week, joe blow from where ever....But my point was that F/As are killing the training aspect of the game..Why by a decent player trained by manager X on Saturday when you can wait for the F/A storm on Tuesday-Thursday...F/A's should come out during the offseason...That is what my counter suggestion to wolph's idea was....and for you not to see that that was the point of my previous post was LAME..and instead to attack me..You even use the word Asinine...Not very GM friendly.
Maybe you forgot that this was a public forum..
