This is a problem that really affects a tiny minority of users, and only a fraction of them probably think it is a problem. According to BBstats Spain (5271) has more users than probably the 60 smallest nations put together (Scotland 30th smallest has 39, Cyprus the 40th smallest has 86, 50th Coloumbia has 114, 60th Macedonia has 298).

I just think the game should be a little more flexible about the sign ups and also maybe give every team a once off chance to move nations (as there was once to demolish arena seating). If someone was born in Macau and will go back there for life in a year or two but is currently studying/working in Austria they should be allowed to have a Macau team. Preventing them and putting them off playing seems negative.

I think the vast majority of teams would stay where they were but those that were truly unhappy could move.

PS: One of my best India U21 managers is actually Japanese but lives in Sri Lanka, so naturally he has to have an Indian BB team.

Well i am a utilitarian so I do believe that you should do what is good for the majority, however presecuting minorities makes society worse for everyone so I am obviously against that. My suggestion which you didn't respond to was to allow new teams a lot more flexibility in terms of what country they sign up to and to have a once off offer to allow existing teams to transfer to another country. Not sure that it can be done but the first part would be easy. Don't want to sign up with Jamacia and it's 20 users then have the option to join USA. Easy.

And ''opció'' in catalan, do you know what's Catalonia? What happens if managers say;

-Ok i want a catalan league or basque league, are you going to give an option also to leave the spanish league?

Because i'm from Spain, but i'm also from Catalonia and i live in Barcelona, can i have an option to play in the ''league'' i want :D?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalonia

Just in case you don't know what's Catalonia ;)

Anyway, absurd suggestion, but i can understand that if you are bored you suggest it.

It was an example ¡

I would like an option for teams to opt out of their country and instead join a region league

But Catalonia can be considered a region from Spain.

Why couldnt it be regions within a country? Look at how big the US is. Its bigger then Europe, but is only 1 country. It could also be broken down into regions.

Yes, I know what Catalan is. And I know what Montanes (no enye on my keyboard) is, etc.

And, you are missing the whole point of my suggestion for an optional regional league. Spain doesn't need a regional league because it already is healthy and thriving with an active gameday chat and forum, etc. Take a look at the forum for Prathet Thai or Vietnam or India. For you to sit on your high horse and say, "too bad for you because you have no people" is a bit selfish in my opinion. People want to have as robust a gaming experience as the Catalans and Gallegos and Boquerones.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
