My own observation also indicates that taller guys train outside skills pretty quickly during their early years. On the other hand I could be much happier about the way my short players train ID.

Another interesting observation was Driving pops 2 weeks in a roll. Seen it just once but it was lower then all other guards skills with exception of passing. Perhaps Passing doesn't really affect other guard skills training trough the elastic effect??

This is interesting, look at my rookie Bepo Vlaše's progress:

1/28/2011 Pressure for PG
Bepo Vlaše ↑popped↑ in Outside Def. from average to respectable .
Bepo Vlaše ↑popped↑ in Inside Def. from awful to inept .
1/21/2011 Pressure for PG
Bepo Vlaše ↑popped↑ in Outside Def. from mediocre to average .

Weekly salary: $ 4 241

Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: strong

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: respectable ↑ Handling: strong
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: inept ↑
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: respectable

Experience: atrocious

Trainer level 5

Training minutes:
1st week 47 minutes
2nd week 43 minutes

So he didn't get full training in neither of those weeks, but he popped in OD in two consecutive weeks... Just to mention that these were my only OD trainings in a while, I can post more data in a couple of weeks...

Such thing could certainly happen if he's that short and only 18 year old. But I'm bit surprised that he got a pop in OD 2 weeks in a row because both weeks he didn't receive full training.
One of my rookie (last season) got a pop in JS 2 weeks in a row, so that's a similar case right there (but he got full training).

Anyone have idea what would be the faster option for improving driving (ignore the effect on other skills, just driving):

- One on One for PG/SG

vs

- Ball Handling for PG only

I would assume the latter, as I thought that driving trained 80% handling also and vice versa. If so, then the increase training pace for single pos would offset the slightly less driving you get from training it via ball handling.

I'm 99% sure One on One is quicker for driving.

Based on my experience. Although the guy was 6'9", so maybe it is different for the lower heights.

I know the "pre" thingy. But unless you set it up in something like Notepad beforehand, it doesn't make a great table for you. I'd love to see tables with headers that could be made with simple tags.
