I don't think its too hard , it too time consuming because a one man team is not effective in the ranks of the game beyond the lower leagues. I think managers want a championship in 3-4 season. they want win something, not just train , train, train to lose. they 1,2nd 3rd place success, not just middle of the pack.

It takes 4 season for a good draft pick to become effective with the right training and a average one about 7 seasons ,that's too long. Its easier to buy a player and get result within 2 seasons, which would a new player do? Now they punish a new player for buying. Yes can they buy a cheap player but still, maybe they don't want to train , maybe they just want to play. Thats what the market is for instant results. It has penatlies , it goods and it bad.

The new player didn't make of the rules they wanted to come here and have fun and enjoy the site. What's fun to me maybe not as fun to anyone else. I think BB need to understand that, your going to have your hard core fans and your going to have the causals.

Just when you speak about having 3 way Sf which is very rare or hard core. Buying a sf on the market will not be that, because those have hit the cap potentials. It come with a lot stigmas and penalties.

To me it evens out somewhat. Online gamers today are looking a super Mario type of game not old school contra

This is demonstrably false. My initial crop of trainees got me to D3 in 3 seasons. The same trainees are still good, to very good, in D2. A single season of training will make a good D5 player. A second season of training will make a solid D4 player. Even a casual player can get that done.

Yeah, same here - three full seasons of training (and two position training in my case, level 4 trainer) and I was promoting to III as well, with five of my ten players in the final game of the playoffs being trainees: (42731327). And I was certainly fine training 18 year old big men trainees in III out of position as well, without ever really coming close to relegating. It takes some intelligent planning to know when you can afford to throw out training lineups and how to be most effective with them, but that's just part of the job.

Agreed to a huge degree.

Second Team:
Canada Purple Haze BC
I have made it to Div 1
and while it may be easier to do that in Canada as opposed to the U.S.
Easier is not easy
I have trained at least 3 players in every season that I have played (13 now I think)
Trying to get trainees their minutes while also trying to win is fun
Friday a.m. when the pops come is better for some than Tuesday, Thurs and Sat when the games come.
I made some early mistakes with potential but the longer you play, the more you learn.
I play 3 different basketball sims.,2 hockey ones.
Have played 2 baseball and one American football.
This one is best, hands down!

I also am a huge fan of Friday mornings to see how my prospects responded to their training that week.
It is also fun to see what happened in regard to GS, and also to see if anyone popped in Experience.
Glad to know you enjoy this game the most. I've considered playing others, and even made a profile on Hattrick, but never logged in again, so my team there went bot long ago.

Things are changing since those days of BB, Im not saying your false like you told me, Im that said success is not the fast truth for everybody. If this was case then we wouldn't be see people asking for a better draft, tanking, speed training and what ever else issue that be. Is 90% of the BB game manager greedy. I can not make that claim. But it looks they look for some kind of success which is my over all point. One player(one man team) cant do it all. like you said you need a group of trainees

I have to respect the opinion if it sound wrong in my mind and personal play , because that's how they feel. Its a lot stuff I don't agree with being said. Its like this, im not going to say your false. Im to say going thats your perspective. Not every one is going having that success like you did.

it maybe true100% at same not everybody is tangoz or Mr glass and uses our training regime , it like this some people never heard of " Jell-O" nor know how to make it. Yes it very easy to make, but they don't know because it new experience to them. You have to put that in perspective. That's all i'm saying. what easy to you is harder to next man and he/she might not have enough time to learn it 100 %correctly , it going to be some time. Not everybody has that. BB Is not for everybody who like basketball, and not everybody that play is going to understand everything in BB 100% correctly.

Getting back to my argument about the cup. I pulled a DIV II team in the second round. This thing should be seeded like the NCAA tournament. Please don't attack the messenger. Just explain to me why its not seeded.

Oh I realize that, but those green arrows have some special charm about them LOL

For example, a few weeks ago, my 28y center got two surprising pops in reb and sb. In reality, he didn't grow much, since he was already high in subleves. But it looked awesome, totally made my day :)
