but there is another point of view . in the tough group even if you finish 3rd or 4th the opponent will be relatively easy. fyrom, this russia, even my greek team is playing like an outsider. so it is actually easier to get through to the final four of the tournament with this schedule.

with a fair contribution, the 3rd wll finish higher and get the weak from the opposite group ;) Adnd he had maybe the oppurtunity not to play so hard and to be "fresher"

Macedonia on a roll! Who would have predicted that?

You should talk about Greece lobby :P Greece was fined in this tournament 15000 dollars, becasue of trying the effect offcials.Only 15000 dollars :P If Turkey would have done same thing, we would have been taken out of tournament.

Is Greece going to rest their key players against Georgia since you are locked in 3rd place? I hope France rest also, because if we try to win against Spain to avoid Greece and we lose, we will be tired against Greece and they are a good defensive team.

I would love to play Finland or Slovenia instead of Greece in quarter-finals, but I don't think we can beat Spain, so I hope we rest our players against Spain, especially Parker, so we have a better chance against you and qualifying for the Olympics.

Loving Greece vs Turkey harass on the forum:D

Greece is in reconstruction, so you guys won;t d very much this year. Turkey, however(Yes, I'm a fan), have the best team that they can possibly put up, and a remarkable coach. Yet, they lack focus. Sometimes you think they are gonna win with a blowout, and sometimes whether they should be in the tournament. I'm expecting more from ilyasova and hedo, hope they beat Serbia today.

Funny fact:

Turkey met Serbia exactly one year ago, on 11th september 2010, in that very debated semi-final, hope they pull it off again.

Papaloukas and Diamantidis are retired from national team.

Only Spanoulis and Big Sofo are important parts of team in not championship.
