NCAA is semi pro basket to me, sorry. I don't mean to dimisnish it, but their game tactics are random or pedictable for my taste.

Hey, didn't Pitino made FCP work? Didn't he get fired n the NBA for trying to win using FCP???

on college level you have to separate big and small programms, since the small one often fail to recruite good big men prospects. Syracuse is quite big, and play quite well with other big programms.

by the way, the quality of game there, should be far above the normal playgrounds ;) And also dallas played a lot of 2-3 during the POs, and not only minor stretches.

But yes it is semi pro, since the enviroment and many players are pro level, but the player didn't get paid.

foul trouble also comes with beeing behind at the end, also most NT roster are quite deep.

The NCAA has many levels of competition, there are Programs and there are... well... you know beter than me. ;)

I'm not in the train of 2-3 doesn't ever work. it does, but you have to have a great roster and be a very good scout. For example, most teams in my league are more outside oriented on offense than in most leagues, so playing 2-3 would be a suicide.-

i agree with you on that, if you are right and choose the 2-3 you have a slight advantage over a man to man defence, but if you are wrong the disadvantage is pretty huge.

pretty unlucky game, which also shows the disadvantages of 2-3 when the opponent don't play look inside or low post ... even hen i think that you still should win the majority of the games

I could say maybe its the turnovers or free throws, but there's one stat that interested me, -19 when your Zhivkov is in the game. A 5k SG put inside a 2-3 zone is like having a 1-3 zone if you consider the competition you're playing in. In other words pretty horrible team perimeter defense for those 21 minutes he was on the court.
