That's the point! So you should stop training them when they earn 180k... That's not a right incentive given by BB... Oh sorry mate your to good, let's take you out of training... If BB would lower their salaries it wouldn't be like that!

one more thing i wanted to write.
when you f.ex. drink at party or eat anything you like do you ever stop? why?
isnt it kinda same reason - after i cross some line there are consequences?
( and to that "stop training" - you can create perfect player in PF or C but you cant stop train him ever.. You would praise for some more seasons to make him perfect)

anyway i dont want to try to make you hate monster players i tried to show everybody that sustainable team can beat monster team in b3, unfortunately my best player got injured so i couldnt. philosopher king could show you there is a way with sustainable roster to win, thrylos team could prove it, you dont need that 20-19-18 skill levels to be good.

^^ I agree with the above.

Nobody is saying you should stop training them, but you certainly should start training other skills than primaries.

I've also noticed that... I have a 'monster' C last season it was around 288K , after the update 300K and today 292K :)

This is to both you and HTG- Yeah I thought about that just after I posted. I was gonna change it but then figgered I'd just take my lumps for being so narrow-minded.

Anywho... there are many other examples in the MLB and NBA hoops as well- Octavio Dotel, Royce Clayton, Kenny Lofton, Jim Jackson and Joe Smith come to mind. And while these might be exceptions, we have to remember that BB is an accelerated system- 50000 teams, not 30.

I don't want to stand on the side of passing around salary beast NT players as being the best thing about BB. I just want to point out that it's not the worst thing going on in the game and not completely unrealistic.

Well if you wanna pay a >200k salary and let play him as a PG, ok then do that ^^

It's really difficult to train bigmen in guard skills...

Kenny Lofton at least fits this game:
He is one of only two men to play in a college basketball Final Four (1988, the first for the Arizona Wildcats) and a Major League Baseball World Series. The other is fellow East Chicago Washington High School alumnus Tim Stoddard, who was a member of the N.C. State team that won the 1974 NCAA Basketball Championship. Stoddard later pitched for the Baltimore Orioles in the 1979 World Series

How about you train his secondary skills while he's young and cheap and then smash his primaries once you're satisfied with his secondaries?

It's not that difficult to train big men in guard skills: it's only worth like 1 season of training out of position (I consider that JS, DR and HA are trained easily - 1v1 forwards). When you pay them 5k - 20k a week, it's comfortable to train them during the cup / scrimmage.

I don't actually see why it is bad. It isn't my cup of tea, but if people want to help out their NTs or have a superstar for a few weeks and have the cash to do so, why not? I am not trying to be cute, but just want to know the arguments for why it is bad. Can you lay them out for me?

Yes 1vs1 is easy, but JR OD and Ps is not... To train a bigmen (even if he's 18) from 3 to 7 in Ps is a long process...
