Yes he is but it is a great improvement from when he was attempting to team train passing.

Well I have got 11 scouting points at the moment and the way things are looking I'll either be getting the 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft if I've read and understood everything properly.

So how should I allocate my points, do I throw 10 at the Scouting Combine or Group Demonstration or just start going through all the players 1 by 1.

Thanks

Always do the scouting combine first. Then you need to keep your cards close to your chest because others from your league may read what you write. (I was happy to blab last season because I had the first pick and it was a pathetic draft.)

Sort the players. Drag all the 18 year olds to the top and all 19 year olds to the bottom. If you want guards order then from shorters to tallest, if you want big men vise versa.

You wont have many points to spend. I suggest spend $20,000 a week. That will give you roughly 15 more points to scout about up to a dozen more guys. Then with your last 4, 6 or 8 points check the potential of the top candidates. Anyone with low potential just drag to the bottom of the list.

I would suggest you sit on your points until later in the season but I understand if you can't wait.

Somebody in your division already leaked some data about your upcoming draft. Perhaps it'll help you...

Now you just gotta find the players he's talking about in your draft :P.

PS: I'm a newbie as well, if anyone could give me any advice for my team that hasn't already been said that would be appreciated.

Want to become a Calamari?

Is this offer still available or have I left my reply too long?

Am really wanting to improve my team as much as I possibly can.

How much should I put into my arena to expand it?

If Yoda offered it to you I'm sure he meant it, Mittyman. As a fellow Calamari man I'm keen to help you out regardless although I'm the newest Calamari man (2 seasons ago). I will flick Yoda an email now to remind him that you're keen.

I agree Koop but I think Yoda intended it from a mentor perspective. I was being mentored by Yoda a good season before I officially became a Calamari.

EDIT: That is, I had access to the "XBB vs VI.7 PL Tactics" forum a seaosn before my first Fishbowl Pl game. The support from Yoda, Rob, Big Fish, Naker, Ezy, Xerxes, Pete, Iwen, Trikster etc etc was and remains invaluable. This is, I'm guessing, what Yoda may have in mind for the Mittyman Lions.
