Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the beat eats you. This saying goes for strip poker as well.

I'd very much like not to need luck. You know the saying lucky in cards, unlucky in love? By that standard, I should be the greatest lover the world has ever known.

All I'd add to that is that I think I'd take being extremely lucky at cards and extremely unlucky at love because after I make a ton of money playing cards I can pay for some pretty high end female companionship. Sure she won't love me but I mean that's 80% of marriages anyway and at least I'll know what's going on. Plus, I'll probably have enough money left over to buy a puppy.

The TL is insane right now. I keep getting outbid by managers who are clearing steering their teams towards bankruptcy and don't mind spending considerably above market value for players with salaries that will consume almost all of their weekly income single-handed.

Maybe I'll just do this season without a real center...

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Yea, last year my starting C was a backup C and my backup C was a 19 year old draftee. Needless to say that worked out really well. :)

It sould be interesting. Really glad I decided to train these two who will never count towards the tax. We could see a short term dumping of players while people get below the tax threshold because 50% is big. But after that, does anyone ever sell their own trainee? TL seems to me like it could dry up a lot of the next few seasons.
