Also hats off to Mouth breather and oakland nuggets on the turnaround season. I know it's early but a 4-0 start is always something to look to. Also to the Atlanta 6's for already playing the "top three" in the great and coming out with a 2-1 record, picking up a big road win against the Austin eagles to start the year, and getting a big TV home win against CA this week.

Yea it gonna be exciting watching the great side of the bracket. Props to you for staying undefeated for now as well. Wouldn't call my situation a turnaround tho. Came into the league 2-7 already then finished 11-12, one game out of the playoffs and I liked my chances if I had made it lol

Atlanta had to sell out for that win, CT vs a TIE and with home court advantage and just a 9-point win. CA Foreigners still probably the better team but props to Atlanta for doing what they felt they had to do. Smart timing as they have an easy upcoming schedule to recoup the enthusiasm against 3 bot teams before facing Oakland. Coyotes benefit as well as it helps them in the fight for eventual playoff home court and they didn't have to sacrifice any enthusiasm to do it.

For sure, especially against such a quality opponent. And like I said it was smart strategy given their upcoming schedule, the fact that it was a TV game, etc. Just don't think they can count on the same thing working if it comes to a playoff rematch

Yea your right. We all need to improve if we expect to compete against the Foreigners come playoff time

Well I'm just glad everyone is talkingπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ . This league is great. Best I've ever been in out of the 7 plus I've been on and off of this game

yeah it's going to be tough but now that you've drawn first blood who knows? Also I really wonder how long he can afford his roster - he's currently paying $248K in salaries which is nearly double the league average. I did the math on his attendance too and he's maybe barely breaking even (depending on what his merchandise is) even if he spends $0 on scouting and has all minimum wage staff (which I doubt since he has some young players and clearly values training/homegrown roster, so he probably has a level 4 or 5 trainer at least). And that was before losing this TV game which won't help. Saw he's trying to sell his rookies to make some cash but their prices are high, so it's possible he ends up cutting some salary before the end of the season. We can only hope at least...

Either way, those of us in the Big 8 have the luxury of getting our popcorn ready. Not that it will be easy for me, Oakland, or Javamen but I think we'd all rather deal with each other than you CA and SD. Gonna be a fun ride.

I'm hoping it does but he's been around so long who knows what kind of cash reserves he has built up. That's the big x-factor. I'm hoping the fact he's auctioning off two young players means he's running low and needs to raise money quick. Every player on his roster was drafted by him, which is incredible. I'm thinking that means he would have preferred to hold onto those players, but that's speculation on my part.

Probably can't count on this forcing him to make major changes but hey, that's not our problem for awhile at least. Cheers πŸ˜‚
