Jason your entire insinuation was that an arrangement was made to reaquire or pay back by A Dub. Being I was one of the owners that acquired one of the players this was directed at me and it's inaccurate.

How can you be mad at A Dub for putting his players up for sale? In the market where everyone posts their crappy trainees for 5 million, you are going to be mad at a guy for posting players for 250k? He didn't force anyone to push the bid button. And as I said he made no promise to me to repay me or to acquire the player back. We had no communication at all prior to my bidding. Or I'm sure Sherlock Holmes would have posted a link to it. But to get mad at him for overpricing his players in this market? It makes no sense. Leave the guy alone, he does so much work for a ton of owners and helps them out with knowledge and advice.

You all have taken this way too far.

Hoosier, I think you are reading way too much into things...I didn't insinuate anything, I was pretty straight forward with my complaints. The fact is he said he will re-acquire the players....it's a fact, he made the offer. You can't do that in BB...I am not insinuating, guessing, pondering or anything else...he said it, it's wrong, I, and others have called him on it.

You are mad at me for pointing out what A-Dub himself said...If he didn't feel like he did anything wrong, why did he go to the off-site forum tonight after all of this discussion and edit that part out of his comments?

"Breaking news"? Seems you lack basic reading comprehension skills. Hassan is the one who voiced his opinion and was unsure about the motives of the buyers. I posted the link so he can see for himself and others. Yeah, I will post a follow up screenshot when someone goes back and changes their words when they see the link I put. Don't know why you think that's such a big deal.

It concerns everyone in the NBBA more than it does you. We are the ones competing against A-Dub, not you.

So go ahead and go back to four years of dormancy, leave my homosexual lifestyle out of the forums, and we move on. No rules were broken anywhere.

Fine.

Well I took his post there as being fesitious as mine was clearly as well. It was over the top humor that is being taken literally now. If A Dub did indeed buy players back, then yes there would be some infractions. But at this point, I don't see any issue with anything that has transpired. Any concern over a guy selling for 250k when we have 85 TSP bigs selling for well over two million and 19 year old untrained guys selling for well over 500k is kind of silly. Sorry D Coward, I know silly is a gay word, no offense. Don't bash me over its usage.

Jason I can't speak for A Dub or his sentimental value for those players. I have a whole list of players that have been big to my success that I would love to reaquire. Here is the problem with that, you can't just direct sell back to another owner. They have to go up for bid for anyone to buy so any such arrangement is very difficult in this game.

But I can only speak for the fact that he has never approached me prior to or after my bid with any offer to acquire them back or pay me back. I am annoyed because you are trying to paint these transactions to seem shadier than they really are. You can't go after him with these accusations without making them against me, it takes two to make any such arrangement.

Last point on this. As I explained to you on BB Mail, I'm not going to sit here and say I wasn't purchasing that guy to help out A Dub so he can continue his run at B3 title which is a huge accomplishment and it's a great promotion of how good our NBBA in the US is. I told you I didn't think a 250k transaction would set off a fire storm in a league that the average team salary is what, 600k a week? It didn't occur to me that a meaningless transaction like that would offend the rest of the league to the extent it has. After all the help he has provided other owners, it was is seemingly his last chance at achieving the ultimate...yes he is a good dude. I helped him out a little bit. But the insinuation that this was some sort of collusion with promises being made back to me is simply not true. No matter how much people claim the opposite to be true or no matter how often the 12 year old dude gay bashes Yuck. He listed the player, I saw the listing on the league front page. I made the bid. End of story.

So why did you buy him? What was your reasoning since you acknowledge that he was overpriced and you're tanking? I know that all NBBA teams have very specific reasons to buy any player - but I can't understand your purchase of this player under any reasonable, strategic reasoning - I think regardless of the transfer price, but especially if you believed him to be overpriced.

edit - I see that you acknowledged that you bought him as a favor for A-Dub. I don't think you're allowed to do that under the prohibition against transferring money rule.

Your post makes no sense. The only reasonable explanation for buying 2 39 year olds and a sixth man for these prices is that you are a newbie and don't understand this game yet. And the odds of buying 3 players from the same team - ?

I am a big fan of this game, and A-Dub as well for that matter. I cheer him on in B3 when I get the chance. I buy supporter every year, and have made donations to BB.

In my humble opinion...a line was crossed in this instance. It's almost like if Kanye West decided to start a GoFundMe page. I actually have no problem with A-Dub listing the players and advertising them on the offsite. I think the real issue is the use of the word "loan" and offering to re-acquire players to repay "loans." I don't think we should be allowed to borrow money back and forth with other owners in this game. At that point it becomes a popularity contest. The game is supposed to be difficult and like Jason said, instead of purchasing that one extra dominant piece, A-Dub probably should have budgeted a little better.

With that said I don't think Hoosier did anything wrong. I don't believe his intent was to purchase a player from A-Dub and get repaid down the road. All things considered I don't think this is a HUGE issue and a punishment (if any) should be minor. Just my 2 cents.

Hi, everyone.

I don't feel like going back through and deleting the majority of the posts in the past few pages, although I probably should. The rules to specify that cheating accusations are not to be made in the public forums, and there's been enough skirting of that rule here that I do need to ask that we please stop discussing the topic. I trust everyone's had a chance to put their opinion in by now.

I also want to mention that personal attacks are also not allowed. I'm very flexible on how I interpret that, especially when people are long-time league rivals and in many cases friends, but please try not to make me have to actually do something about it.

Finally, a pre-emptive warning that discussions about staff decisions, whatever they may be, are also against the rules of the game.

I had a pretty good weekend minus the loss to the Cacti last night. Race going to be tight for #4-#6.

My cousin who is on the spectrum had his college graduation. NYCFC beat Tim Howard and the league's leading defense 5-1 including a Frank Fucking Lampard hat trick. While I couldn't attend the game, a guy in my season ticket group informed me of that our seats are perfectly covered and rain didn't affect them at all! Julian Fucking Green had a hat trick for against Inter Milan for FCB! I think his position change to CF really been great. Not creative enough for a winger or #10 but has great physical tools. Getting started on my class F license with US Soccer soon.

With the conventions over I am prepping my AP US Gov class. What a time to be alive right now. Working on a website to help teachers flip their class for Global History and US Gov.

Also beginning to the prep workouts and tactics for my high school team. I have a super quick athletic point guard but nothing really else so I need to figure out what to do when other teams beginning zoning and junk defending him.
