My apologies if this has been answered before,

When training, is there a penalty to training one skill for an entire season? I've been reading up about it and some old posts I found said to swap training every couple of weeks, some suggested to train 1v1 for an entire season first - not sure which to do.

No penalty.

As a skill level gets higher and especially if other related skills are lower, you do get a negative "elastic" effect. For example training a player with 20 OD and low HN/DR can be slow. But it doesn't mean you need to change training regularly, reviewing your training plan once a season is usually fine. Sometimes you might train a skill multiple seasons without change, a lot of managers will start with two seasons of 1v1 training for example.

You might be right that it can't be negative, but the elastic effect is correct right?

If so it could just be re-phrased as "less or no positive elastic" when the skills are unbalanced in a certain way.

So the value you see in the 'Team History' page are the stats accumulated from league, playoff, relegation, cup, B3 and BBM games and the values you see in the 'Hall of Fame' page are for league games only.

The reason there may be a mismatch in data is if your schedule hasn't been updated in Buzzer-Manager. You may have some games not counted for.
