From one of my earlier posts on this thread:

Once again, I find this all perfectly useless. The slow drip of the previous two weeks, compared to the bigger drop this week isn't statistical evidence of a sudden acceleration of quitters. Nor were the two slower weeks of losses indication of a slowdown or an approach of stability.

So we seem to be making the same point.

Why on earth isn't this pointless thread dying a slow death? Or better yet, a fast death?

I am always watching and trying to figuring out how the transfer market works.

I have been doing for the past 5 to 6 seasons,

From what i have seen - the number of players being listed has greatly decreased.

For me, I am not listing any player because it's becoming harder to find any replacements (in my price range) if i do sell them.

In my opinion, one of the reason why people quit playing this game is because mangers hate losing.

Another reason they quit is because they cant figure out how to play this game.

If they added another aspect to this game that was not related to simulation basketball, mangers might stick around even if they were losing and the ones who don't know how to play might figure it out.

People like making money and having fun, so I propose they add another way for people to that other than day trading.

Maybe add a banking system or even a place to gamble there simulation money on real sport games(not buzzer beater games).

More options = More reasons to play = Higher user base

With all due respect, I see two very fundamental flaws in this plan:

1:
If they added another aspect to this game that was not related to simulation basketball ...
... it would dilute programming resources devoted to the basketball sim, diverting them to something irrelevant to the b'ball sim. The basketball sim seriously needs their full attention.

2:
mangers might stick around even if they were losing and the ones who don't know how to play might figure it out.
Riiight, added irrelevancies wouldn't distract them, they would actually be instructive. And pigs fly.

Seriously, that would in no way help managers somehow learn a game that they couldn't grasp even without all the distractions you propose. It is bad enough that BB hasn't yet been able to corral all the day trading that is so disruptive to the b'ball sim; don't add to the disruption. I think managers who cannot figure out the game need more clear instruction and game documentation, not distractions.

I really don't think daytrading has any impact on the simulation whatsoever..

I know you like to think that. You like daytrading.

I like the B'ball sim, therefore I hate daytrading because it pollutes the game. How daytrading looks depends on your point of view. We disagree because our points of view are 180 degrees different.
