No, I must be compensated for that. Somehow. It must happen. If it does not, I will stop playing this game right at that moment.

It was not my fault, it was the problem of the site. How can anyone say that the idea of this game is to provide fair terms for everyone if it stays like that.

That was not a fair bidding process. I would not complain about the price, if it was a continuous process. But it was not. It was stopped and it led to losses. Unfair... That is all I can say about it.

Then you should quit the game - I really doubt you will get compensated, when this happened to me I had three players on the market, all of them were sold for less than expected.

BB will tell you that it was your fault listing the player for a price you did not want to sell him...

With this "nice" event.. i can't try to have another guard for my Playoffs... thanks BB for ur no-reaction ( i would hope in fact, that you retake the player on the market tonight (GMT+1) before 23-24h.. now it's to late there are nobody on BB) !

For Resume:

-I don't sell my player before the PO's deadline
- I can't try to have a guard for my PO
- I must pay 91k for the salary monday !!!

A very good night

Please, try to understand what I am saying.

I would NEVER have made a complaint, if the bidding process had been fair. I would have been happy with any price within the frame of a fair process. But the process went wrong, and that is why I am angry. And that is not my fault. How can anyone say that I should bear all costs of the fault. Do not tell me that I should have put him on the market for a price of this and that I chose to put him on the market for 1000 expecting a fair process. I did not put him on the market for 1,5 million, I could have done that, but it seems that I was too naive to expect a fair market process. Nobody should expect any player to know exactly the value of his players, that is why the market is there. I left it on the market to create a price for him, but the market was denied to do that. Im am complaining because of the process!!!

Until this point I have been sure that this is a fair game and provides equal terms for everyone, but now I think it is just science fiction fairytale.

I understand your point, and I had the same arguments like you when this happened to me - in my case I even had three players auctions ending at the same time when the BB-page was not accessible.

I too think that this is not fair, but the reality is that nothing will be done in your favor - don't even expect to get an answer from one of the BB.

But there is a problem and they should give a reply. If they do not then why does a bug forum exist???

Im surprised there is no comment so far... there was a blip on the site for at least 10mins whilst I was posting up some stuff in a fed. I sympathize with those that it affected...

I think you are being a bit harsh Knecht on the BB's - I think if they agree the site was proving troublesome for a certain period things will be amended to help those that were effected.

Plm and kaygee,

Unfortunately, unexpected downtime can occur and our policy is not to affect transfers after the fact. We do our best to postpone transfers if we can catch them in time, but this is one of the sad truths of online gaming.

kaygee -- we always recommend that people set a starting price for their transfers that they would not be unhappy receiving for the sale, especially for expensive players. In that case, if there are unexpected downtime issues on the site, you don't risk what happened this time. Though I'm sure it's not what you had wanted to hear, this is the fairest response we can offer and the only acceptable policy we have in this regard.

Plm -- The player was returned to you since he was never sold. While it's little consolation, I expect that the value will not drop substantially compared to selling him at the start of next season.

We will continue working on all downtime issues to ensure they are as infrequent as possible. We really do try our best with the resources we have available. Thank you all for your continued patience.

Is there some way, for the future, where any downtime automatically triggers a half an hour increase in the deadline of all staff and player transfers?

I still think that you (and many others here) misunderstand what I am trying to say. I do not want you to affect the transfer and I do not want that player back. I am looking for a compensation and I am sure that would be the only fair solutuion for this problem.

I would NEVER have made any complaint on ANY price if it had been the result of a fair bidding process. The initial price of the player on the market has nothing to do with that. I chose to put him on the market on a low price because I wanted to sell him EXPECTING a FAIR market bidding process. That is not against the rules of the game, I did not violate any rules, the problem is that I was treated differently from others. Others at this moment have, and at any time in the past had the access to an unaffected market, I did not.

What you say is not much more than a grain of sand in a desert, this is not the first time it has happened and you still don't have a plan to solve it (I am sure you do not want to have any that's all...).

You're missing Mark's point. Part of the expectation when you put your player on the market is that technology may fail. Therefore, when you're listing anyone below the price you expect to get, you're doing this at your own risk.

Granted, the BB team does all possible to prevent unexpected failure, but it will still happen occasionally. BB does not have a policy of handing out compensation, but transfer deadlines have been extended, when possible. In this particular case, it wasn't possible. While the situation is unfortunate, it's part of the reality of online games.
