http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Tact... There is a part about enthusiasm and using tie and ct. Remember not everything is written in the rules. Something you need to find out yourself. Facts: TIE raises your ent by 33%, CT lowers it by 50%.
Some have said that playing TIE at 7-8 ent equals playing normal at 5 ent.
All we know is that he is our teams racing driver, THE STIG:D:D:D

Based on the post-game ratings, enthusiasm has an effect only on perimeter/inside defense and rebounding.

It's hard to find a simple rule but, just for reference, you can assume that these ratings increase by a notch every 2 points of enthusiasm.

For example:

enth.=5 -> average (low)
enth.=7 -> average (medium)
enth.=9 -> average (high),

and so on.

That's not correct. Enthusiasm and effort level have an effect on different parameters, it's very hard to compare them.
Let's say that a high enthusiasm artificially increases some of your players' ratings during a game, while a high effort (crunch time) gives them a slight edge in a number of game situations. It's a similar effect, but not quite comparable.

I believe that the entusiasm only affects defense and rebounding.

Coach parrot doesn't say so and why in the NT scrimmages there are teams with prolific (11) in the Offence and Respectable (7) or Strong (8) in the Defence?

I'm pretty sure enthusiasm has more effect than just def and reb. I agree that playing CTvsN is different than playing TIE-N. We can ofcourse argue about those team ratings and what they represent (for example having one 450k monster can boost your ID a lot while I still score a lot inside at every other position than C etc.). Remember that coachparrot is not written by a BB.
I'm not saying TIE at ent 7-8 = N at ent 5. Some just have stated it. It's a bit more complicated. Looking at point difference it creates might imply that it's the truth, but game outcomes have more variables in them than just ent (game shape, matchups, HCA, etc etc).

If you play CT, Normal or Tie, it has no influence on ratings but only on performance.

You said that playing CTvsN was different than playing TievsN.

I thought that you were comparing the ratings, if not then it's not for you.
