for me driving isn't that important for guards in both strategies, but look inside is faster and the sf have a bigger impact on the offensiv rating.

Hey Mod....I read your notes on these forums all the time, and I always agree with what you say, and think you clearly understand this game very well...so please know i do not mean to offend you by disagreeing with you but I do in this instance.

I think driving for guards is huge, no matter what kind of offense they run. Good driving can cause fouls, as well and get a player a bettter shot for himself. For my team, the difference in a players ability to make his shots and his shooting percentage going up has been directly corelated to the rise in his driving.

don't worry to disagree, thats why we had an forum because we all understand the game on our own way and pretty sure there are different ways to design a working roster :)

i currently have an great shooting guard on my rooster, who have just a 8(strong?) in driving - and stopped looking for it after seeing lot of guys out of the italian NT who cared less about this skill and was succesful at least for a long time(i doesn't see lot of ptheir player on the tl the last seasons).
The german NT normally had an balanced approach with it, and was also succesful to underline the point from above ;)

But i am not sure, if it is mostly about the training, which also trains a lot of secondaries and correlates with the training speed of the other stuff - at least on german boards it is uncommon to say choose the guy with the driving.

most people use Look Inside (including myself), but I'm starting to experiment a little with Low Post. Will post when I see results myself ;)

Well seems like for me it is equally effective as Look Inside, maybe a little better. Obviously unlike Look Inside, Low Post puts most in use PF and SF, while Look Inside puts more on PF and C.

So, if you have a strong PF and SF, use Low Post. If you have a stronger C and PF, then use Look Inside.

In both cases the most important thing is to have a good Inside Shot, otherwise you will fail miserably.

That's the way I see it (at least from this match).
