Here are some of the changes that are taking place in CBBA during the new season.
1. Cyprus Fighters, the new champions have decided to refresh their line up by saling Delpeuch, an excellent SG at the age of 29. With this sale along with the monet earned from season 13, who knows what kind of a monster will be called to increase the teams strength. As we have observed, the manager is trainning small guys and special attention is given to Gkavo, a player capable to bring to life impossible missions.
2. Bc teammate have decided to enroll Yuangyuang before the playoffs of season 13. Still we have not seen much of this player to explain its huge sal;ary of 92,000. Is there more to this player than what the eye can see? Other than that the team is tying to sale Feloukas, a players of a respectable calibu,r for some time now.
3. Keraynos seems to be rebuilding the whole team since nearly all the starting players have entered the transfer market. What could the goals of the team be this season? It is hard to say with the manager has to start from scratch with new players.
4. Pistoleroi, last years runner ups, have decided to transform their team in an attempt to reach the playoffs finals once again and remain competent in season 14. Fresh blood has been added to the team, of which we include Mihai Ionescu ( a great PF, C with a huge salary of 126,000) as well as Paraskeyas Pediatrakis (a Cypriot supertalent SG). For this transformation to take place the team has sold some of its key players from season 13. Could the team repeat seasons 13 performance? Has the manager done the right transfer choices?
5. Megalonisos has not added any new blood to its squad but remains a solid team with goals for the championship.
6. Valentinos, the team that has been awarded the title of the most developed team in season 13, has no new blood to show up to this point. Despite the fact Valentinos consists of 15 players, the team has nothing to show except from the starting line up. Surely the manager has spotted this and is doing everything he can to make the team more competitive.
7. Bros has shown superve results during season 12 but has failed to continue its winning steak during season 13. During season 14 the team has purchased a new center with salary of 96,000. Could this move bring the team back to its former glory?
8. Last but not least Ekleptismenoi. A team that initially showed signs of a future supers team, has backfired on its self during season 13. The manager has tried to give its most attention to its new talents, thus ignored its starting line up. This had a bad effect on the teams performance making the fans very unhappy. Nevertheless in season 14 the team has been rebuild and great things are waiting to happen.

So there you have it. A few words for all the major teams of CBBA. Next time we shall talk about key points of key matches :)

Ladies and Gentlemen we have promised to give you an analysis of the upcoming game Bros vs Ekleptismenoi which will take place in Bros homecourt on Saturday the 16th of October.
We are talking about two teams with relatively similar strength (almost). Surely Bros has the upper hand since the team is playing infront of its own fans. So we are already talking about +1 for Bros.
Lets analyse each position.
PG: Bros has Tatarkin. A player of salary 35,000. Capable of a good performance as an outside shooter with a great passing game. Usually Takarkin gets a rating of 10,5 and 11. Surely Ekleptismenoi needs to place a good defender for this player. On the other hand Ekleptismenoi use Mato as their starting PG. Surely an inferior player than Takartin. A player of 25,000 salary. As substitutes we have Chasodikis (18,000) and perhaps Artakos (27,000). Thus we give another +1 to Bros for the PG position.
SG: Bros has Charavgis (27000) and perhaps Sfictiridis or Skarmoutsos. Ekleptismenoi possess Thanos Kakarnakis, a player of NT magnitute. (85000). Based on this if both teams play Run & Gun we give +1 to Ekleptismenoi.
SF: Could it be Chazodikis for Ekleptismenoi? Could it be Sala? We are not sure yet. Perhaps the coach we decide on an outside defense player rather than an inside one. On the other hand Bros will surely play with Calsa. (58000). A great mide range and outside player. +1 for Bros.
As for the big guys PF and C once again Bros has the upper hand +1 since both teams will probably play R&G.
So we come with a +4 for Bros who will come as winner based on our assumptions. What ca Ekleptismenoi do? Surely they will have to play 3-2 and not man to man. On the other hand Bros would be expected not to take the risk of 3-2 and thus will play man to man. So perhaps the best chance Ekleptismenoi have would be to play R&G and 3-2 if Bros plays R&G man to man. Based on this assumption we give a +1 to Bros and the match will turn to a derby.

Whats new and hot in the CBBA? Thats why we are here to chat about everything that is happening the major league.
1. Valentinos. We know about the great leap Valentinos has achieved in season 13, returning back to the CBBA. Unfortunately the team and the manager are not able to repeat the winning streaks of last season at least up to the first 5 games they have played. At this moment Valentinos is at the 5th place of Great 8 with 2 wins and 3 losses. Something we did not expect. It seems that the sale of its PG seemed to have affected the team to a point of not been able to keep up with the best. This Tuesday the fight against Pistoleros in their own court. What would be the result? We dare not imagine.
2. Ekleptismenoi. What a come back. Last season the team was characterized as perhaps the team with the worst improvement. If anyone believed that just look at their transformation. Currently at 3rd place with 4 wins and 1 loss Ekleptismenoi are surely strong candidates for the playoffs and the tournament. Superb come back!
3. Bros. As always a challenging team aiming high. Last season was not their best and this season they started with a good winning streak holding the 2nd position in Great 8 with 4 wins and 1 loss just behind Pistoleroi with equal wins and losses. Nevertheless the loss from Pistoleros with 29 points should worry the manager if the team aims for the championship.
4. Paphos is the surprise of season 14. The team just jumped to another level during this season. Initially a huge fight against Ekleptismenoi where they lost in the tie break. Afterwards a great win against Valentinos and an equally great performance against Pistoleroi. Surelly the manager is doing his very best and it would be nice to see Paphos growing and getting even stronger.
5. The CBBA champions. What can we say about Cyprus Fighters. Well 5 wins in 5 games they seem unstopable even with out their best players Gkavo and with out Gagalatos. Nevertheless the team needs to be rebuild as the weaker teams tend to catch up and fast.
6. Bc teammate. Glory of the past. The team has been left with 10 players of which 7 are about a respectable level. surely the team has a good chance for the playoffs but regarding the finals? Slim. The squad needs new blood to be added as to avoid tiring the starting squad.

And here we are again to talk about tonight`s matches. As you have all observed there were two major derby games (Valentinos vs Pistoleros and Bros vs Megalonisos) We shall give our attention two this two games in semi detail.

1. Val vs Pis: Lets start with the final score. An away win for Pistoleros with a slim score of 85-80. Both teams played at the same level, both teams started the game with their best players and both decided on tactics of neutral attitude. What was the difference? The second line up. Pistoleros managed a 28 points from the bench while Valentinos 18. Although Vale dominated on behalf of the rebounds with 15 offensive, Pistoleros had a better FG and 3FG average, with more steals and blocks. Based on the stats the two teams seemed a bit equal except from the SG position where Pistoleros dominated the court. Overall a big game and a huge win for Pistoleros in their attempt to win the champioship this year.

2. Bros vs Mega: I would characterize this game as an odd one. Lets start from the beginning. Megalonisos managed to win with 94-84. Both teams used their best players as we would expect. Megalonisos played a motion tactics in contrast to Bros who used a more neutral offense. statistically on point average the two teams were a bit equal, not much difference, but if we look the stats analytically Bros dominated the rebounds, but also the FOULS. 23 fouls were called and 26 points were achieved by Megalonisos from the foul line. The devastating quarter for Bros was the second one were the score board showed 22-9 in 12 minutes. What went wrong? We dont know and probably neither the manager of Bros does either. Very dissapointing performance by Bros big guys Svendsen and Kerkidis achieving a 15,5 rating but only 12 points.

Today we decided to post this message regarding the development of several teams in CBBA.
1. Valentinos, after a bad start in this season has decided to reform its starting and second line up. The initial SG is now history as well as Koutsoudakis while Fasoulis is placed for a second week in the transfer market to be sold. Surelly the manager has spotted the teams weaknesses and is doing everything he can to improve its team. Needless to say that the manager has purchased Kaprivourkos for 2.8M.
2. Ekleptismenoi have lost in their recent match against Keraynos and thus are now tied with Pistoleros but with a worse scoring difference. No new additions have been seen recently.
3. Bros has sold Aranzana, their PF in an attempt to collect money and bring new blood to the team. The problem is that the team is not nearly powerless under the basket and thus if the manager does not pick a sub soon their will be problems in the upcoming games bot offensively and defensively.
4. Cyprus Fighters have sold Delpeuch and purchased a monster PG,SG,SF at the price of 4.5M. Could anyone overcome this team? Seems very very difficult.
5. Bc teammate, after their defeat by Pistoleros, have decided to acquire Mpririkos for 2.4M. Can the team get stronger with its new addition? The answer is yes.
6. Megalonisos has decided to sell nearly everyone of its players. What is the manager thinking? Dont ask.

Other than that Pistoleros remains with its initial squad waiting for the right time to increase its teams strenght with new blood.

Ok people here is the latest update regarding the top teams of CBBA. To start with we have observed a tendency of nearly all teams to refresh and rebuild atlest their starting line up, lately. We have commented on this before but based on the new data we shall update a bit. Special attention is given to Valentinos who has lately refurnished his entire squad and kept only the good material. Since the last disappointing results Vale decided to sell all the bad staff from his team and started rebuilding. Since then he has added two respectable players, PG and SG. Surely this is the best move to make his team more competitive but the question is whether he is too late to enter the playoffs. Is he really?
Following up is Pistoleros, we would expect the leaders of Great 8 to purchase a great PG/SG but instead the manager decided to surprise everyone by adding a 19 year old player from Canada to his squad. Is this the right move? Time will tell. Cyprus Fighters, CBBA champions have purchased a super SG/SF player from Turkey. There are not much to be said for this player except from excellence in all fields even inside defense. Surely a purchase that will give them the championship for a few more years to come.

In respect to the championship, a huge battle is formed in the Great 8 division as 5 teams are head to head and overall 6 teams are semi equal in respect to their strength. Who will finish first? Only Nostradamus can answer this question correctly!!!! :)
