I agree with that but the original suggestion was just for a bit of fun.

There have been two ways suggested: The "rookies" would be any player aged 18 or 19 and the "sophmores" would be any player aged 20-21. As always this would be a smashing for the sophmores.

If it was to be Big 8 against Great 8 then again it would be any player aged 21 or under.

I think even in the top leagues there must be players aged 21 or under who are playing, at that age you can have a salary in the $50,000 range or even more.

But the important thing is it should be listed in the player's history. 99% of teams have no-one that has played for their NT but can have many players who have apperaed in All-Star games.

Even though I know it's totally meaningless, I think a rookie game would be great if it could be programmed! It would be a fantastic thing for the managers who are sacrificing the occasional or a point differential boost for the sake of training up a rookie to see their rookie(s) take center stage in an all-star sort of game. But this should be for first- and second-year players only, or maybe make it a 19-and-under game.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
