I have the same problem in my league. If an owner keeps no players on his roster he should not get ANY ticket money. If you check the box score from the game in my league the team has nearly 3000 people showing up for the walkovers. He pays no salary yet gets to expand his arena without fielding a team.

The minutes and stats don't count. It will still show up on the player's record as having played minutes but with no stats but none of them actually count towards games played and calculation of the stats.

e.g it is not used for calculation of ppg, rpg, etc

It doesn't really matter. In such a scenario, the owner is most likely going to quit anyway so any money he/she makes will be lost.

Actually it does matter to those of us who do it the correct way. If you can't field a team you shouldn't be able to make money on it. Do they get tv revenue? Its already enough of an inconvenience that they aren't competitive, but to be rewarded with cash is absurd.

Why does it matter to you? You worry about your team's finances. What another team is doing you have no control over. If they don't want to run a team, then so be it. They are inactive and will go bot anyway. What good is a team that goes bot? They might have a mill stashed up but all that will be gone when a new team takes over.
