The problem is not when people bid above the market rates (which needs to happen for the market price to go up) but when people make bids that are extremely above the market rate. When an outrageous bid occurs the most reasonable explination is that the one team is trying to help another team. And if you get in a bidding war that means that other user(s) thought the player was almost worth as much as you got him for so there should not be a problem. Also $20,000 is almost nothing unless the player sold for under 50K.
