Maybe ID do prevent from taking easy position inside. But maybe also the general lack of SB make these -not so good- inside positions sufficient to make the shots.

I do rate the GE very highly (except the awful AI coach which needs to be completely upgraded), I am appalled you are still evaluating using JS vs OD and IS vs ID. Don't say you don't !
A couple of quick questions.
You don't talk about drives. Did you make a distinction between drives and inside shots ?
Recently, you have played Patient a lot with an abysmal OF. Did you count those games like the others ?

I'm almost completely ignorant about real basketball and I think my all real skills are atrocious ;-) But if I play basket without opponent, and I shot from paint, I can score 9 of 10 attempts. But if I shot from circle I think I can score only 1 of 10 or 1 of 20 attempts ;-)
So I think it's realistic ;-)

You are too upset to have a discussion. Think about it later with a cool head, there are thousands of games played including NT games watched under increased scrutinity and you'd be alone to spot unexplainable misreadings of skills ?
You have a few preconceived ideas maybe. I have never implied you just had to take DR/HA into account. That would still be a rudimentary confrontation of skills and the GE is of sophisticated complexity in my eyes.
I don't claim I know everything there is to know about the GE, I clearly don't and I think anyone claiming it has most certainly a poor understanding of it. But from all the information you don't give, you show all you don't look at.
Layups have always been difficult to understand, they are different shots. I think you should first have different stats for layups and inside shots.

Many years ago I played basket with other guys with all atrocious skills ;-) And every or almost every shot was open ;-)
I know nothing about real basket but I know a little about basket in BB ;-) Tactics in BB aren't important.
As I said many times - comparision between NBA and BB is wrong. Only few NT or B3 matches can be compared to NBA. 99% of matches in BB should be compared to matches between children. And if You use this comparision everything is very realistic ;-)
