I've felt that jump range is overrated and driving underrated for awhile now. I think that a player needs decent range to hit 3's but once they get to a certain level, it's their other skills that help get them the open looks they need to knock down 3's.

It's easy question, correct answer is Jump Range. Driving is only secondary skill.

i think you ask to different things, when i buy players i mostly ignore driving but when i train driving is a pretty good training cause it trains a lot of secondarys raise the elastic effect and comes more or less for free ;)

my way of restating your point is to say that i think each and every skill listed for a player has its (potential) role -- each can be (equally) exploited -- JR is dissed because coaches choose not to figure out how to fully utilize it.

I tend to think that driving isn't inherently more valuable than jump range.

Rather, jump range appears less valuable because so many owners value its opposing defensive skill, OD. The same can't be said of driving.
