You'll never see in real life basketball a player fouled out in minute 28, and hardly ever with 28 minutes (even with not followed minutes).
I think that there should be a feature in the code of the game engine who "say the player" that in games with 28 minutes and 4 or 5 fouls, is better allow a rival bucket than be fouled out before the half time... ;))

I've had a player fouling out in the 8th minute before. Crazy really and totally unrealistic.

Well, what are people setting for the "Foul Trouble" setting in tactics. In real life I'd expect that most coaches are using something like "sit them" rather that what I predict people use in BB which would be "let them play".

I've noticed that my players make more fouls against bot teams, especially when I play against a team who has no enough players.

In real life the player would not play the entire game, he would have been benched after a couple fouls. Since you tried to maximize minutes and play all your players the whole game, it is not illogical that some of them fouled out.

I agree that the game engine isn't perfect. We noticed already that more fouls are commited against weaker players and it's an issue that still needs confirmation (some analysis of a greater number of games should be done). However, since we currently don't have enough dev resources to tackle GE problems, I'm afraid the issue will remain and doing such an analysis would serve no point. So, you are probably on the right track but I'm afraid we can't do much at this time.
