It makes me wonder if the GE knew that my team was going to win before the game actually played out.

I ended up blowing the other team out. It was a bot team. So it was pretty obvious up front I was going to win the game.

Yep if you get that 50k which you can see in the first half of your game it means you won. This happens because all your game results are calculated 15 minutes before your game starts, so I think its a bug.

It did. The game is actually simulated during the fifteen mintute period between when you can set your line up and the game being shown. This is one reason why we can't actively manage our teams during the game. (because its already happened)

Of course it knew. It's a computer simulation, not real life.

You can always find out if you won or lost your cup game just by looking in your bank account as the game is about to start.
