Depending on your opponents Game shape....if it were higher than yours...sometimes they will break down your zone (figure you out) if they have good experience too

It sounds iffy. My coverages broke down, that's why my center went chasing their SG well beyond 3-point line. Another thing to consider that in BB if the defender has very poor OD, the attacker with poor JS/JR will light it up from the logo. So when this sort of "breakage" happens, it's a sign to stick with m2m.

This has absolutely nothing to do with game shape.

I nvr play zone, if your sf and pf are no good your going to beat 9-10 times. with all the teams playing LI and up tempo, your going to need a good pf and a vry sf.. I dont know about the rest but stay away from zones..

man to man should work

overall the gain is bigger, then the lose of some weak posessions in my eyes. If the zone match the opponent offense.

i agree if it matches the tatic of the oppents offense but thats a huge crap shoot . Not worth the risk in my small opinion

Normally play m2m. But needed to hide a trainee on D, so I played 3-2 zone. The opponent played LI.
How come his guards were shooting jumpers against my bigs. I even saw his shooting guard take a long 3-pointer vs, my center midway through possession. Isn't the purpose of zone D to have guards defending the perimeter and bigs the inside?!
