The old school of thought was the shorter the better for guards and taller the better for bigs because they train faster.

But I think with the new school of thought where you're better off training well rounded players it's far better to have players that aren't too tall or too short so the don't train too slowly when trying to give them the much needed cross-training. Absolutely nothing wrong with a 6'3" PG in this case. I'd be more worried that he has poor starting skills

Thanks everyone. My pg is 18 and has:
JS: Mediocre JR: Mediocre
OD: Respectable Handling: Mediocre
Driving: Respectable Passing: Respectable
IS: Awful ID: Atrocious
Reb: Respectable Block: Atrocious
Stamina: Inept FT: respectable

I think that's pretty good starting off

Is there any statistic how much height influences each type of training? 6'7" to train OD and JR, is that painful to watch?

Thanks for the info, Manon. I'm sharing my data, but I'm off from my personal computer for weeks already and have very limited access only via smartphone.
So I was a little lost with my new draftee. Thanks for the quick reply. Sounds quite okay for me to still train him. He'll have advantage with his training on the inner skills, so that is the price to pay for a decent SF.

Yeah, quite...you will need at least three weeks of each to pop, and that's on a 19y old. IMO only OD training pays off on tall players.
