You never want to promote through bot cleanup in my opinion because:
1. If you do not win your league your fans won't be as happy which can effect your economy.
2. You don't get promotion money.
3. In most cases that means that you aren't ready to promote if you can't win your league (Unless of course your in IV.10 or something)

Is getting promotion money through bot cleanup a new thing?I ask because from what i hear and understood you only got that if you won your league.
