I get that sorta, but not the way its described...so I guess we have to inventively interpret what it says...
howver in that scenario, and the real bug, is that the shooting team should ge tthe ball since the defence batted it out.
Maybe that bug was well-known inside the developer circles and why BB-Charles was so adamant about the value of shotblocking! ;)
I would just choose to pretend to read it as the shotblocker blocked it down into the shooter's face, and then it bounced off his face and all the way to the backboard. In that scenario, you're lucky - since any real human would have been injured in that scenario, but in BB-world, it's "no foul, no harm".
