From my experience, driving leads to more opportunities, while IS helps to capitalise on them.


If a PG has great driving skill (say, prominent or even better) and poor IS (say, awful or poorer), would he still score lots of points when playing LI or LP?

I always think only IS would help to score, especially playing LI / LP ; However, driving would make the players shoot better, hence better FG% (and more free throws if the opponent players commit fouls).

Probably some middle ground, and it depends in no small part on the defensive scheme, and abilities of the defenders. There are plenty of times in an inside-oriented offense though, where I'll have a "Point guard goes up for an inside shot"- and I'd tend to figure that depends a lot more on IS.

I thought that LI would depend more on Driving and Stamina while LP would reward Passing more. Also, is there any difference in the shot distribution?
