I do understand that many people will not be happy to add another week per season, but why not use up the Wednesday and Friday of the last week for the season since Game Shape will be reset after Off Season.

I can understand that it'll be very hard to determine the 2nd place in cup game because the champion and no.2 might possibly in random face each other on the very 1st or 2nd cup game for the season.

***But its different in a League, kind of unfair for the no.2 if he is placed together with the League champion under Big 8 or Great 8. The feeling of when he knew that he can probably beat the other finalist for Silver trophy but do not have the chance to do so is quite not so well, every season the Silver trophy 'might' go to the wrong guy.

Its another matter if someone have to say that its illogical to have player to play everyday in a week in reality, then its a conflict for the game designer to argue with since this is his developed game, I'm okay with anything if many agree to make buzzerbeater to be close to reality. I'm just a player ^^.

Just a suggestion anyway, not to brought up any negative issue, my head filled with this Silver idea since I'm in the same league with my cousin, we are the top 2 with bot in playoff but only one of us can get a trophy.

If you really are the second best team this season, chances are you are the best team next season and earn that gold trophy.

All the player in my country division 3 will get into division 2 because in my country division 3, I think only League III.1 is occupied, the champion from other League III will most probably be a bot, other players will then fill in for the bot who rises into division II.

Anyway, talking about gold trophy is kind of off topic although I know that being the best matter's more. I am concerned about the fairness for 2nd place, at least a Silver if couldn't be able to get the Gold.

this problem happens in real life sport. as an example, in seasons gone past, when say the Lakers and the Spurs were playing in those conference finals, the loser was quite often the 'second best team' in the league. The winner got to go play some crapola eastern conference team, which both the Spurs and Lakers could easily beat.

so unfortunately, its just like in real life sport.

There is also a good chance that both of you will promote itno the higher division next season (assumes a few things like ur record/other teams promoting, how many bots are in Div II etc).

Yea.. do notice that even Olympic game has matches for Bronze, not Silver, and agree, most probably both of us will have a good chance promoting into Div II.

Just suddenly have a thought of having both of us a trophy for an early experience, other than just only one of us can get a hold of a trophy, because I'm thinking that it'll be a tough time to get into final in Div II next season, that means there will be no trophy for both of us on the coming next few season...

And then here I am now haha!, a minor suggestion...

the other thing is - is that I think u will only see ur trophy if you get a supporter package :)

But one more thing if this small suggestion worked out, there could be a new team history sentence "Season 21, Igneel won the Silver Trophy of Div III etc etc.." ha ha all hail imagination...

An off topic opinion... should have put the title 'A match for Silver trophy' to look more positive instead of 'Unfair...'

meh - people will make of it what they will, no matter how nicely you put it.

your suggestion isnt that totally wild though. i mean if the conference winners play off for a gold and silver trophy, then perhaps the conference finals losers could play off for a bronze trophy, like in the olympics?

that would keep teams interested after their conferenc final loss - would add more trophy opportunities into the cabinet and specifically for your instance - it would give you a bronze trophy because you or your cousin would probably play off against a bot for the bronze!

so ur suggestion isnt as silly as say - its spawned discussion which may have come up with a slight variation of your suggestion - which may have an even better chance of happening :)

Oh yeah good point, do notice that semi-finalist losers only get to have Scrimmage rather than a real competing match, why not a Bronze? A bronze is still a trophy...

Interesting, directly or indirectly this idea will gives both of us a trophy...happier outcome rather than no trophy for one of us who failed to be the champion.

And just remembered, there are matches to determined no.2 places, although I remembered this from a japanese anime 'Slam Dunk', but it is quite logical because their situation shows that only the 2 best team from a region can be qualify into the national tournament, therefore to determine the no.2 position became very important for them that they have to make a proper match to find out the top 2 team
