but how does it work in terms of number of games and the closeness? Does it mean that if you have no close games with anyone no one will be your rival?

okay, so as long as I keep the difference between scores of the games big (whether I win or lose) it will lower my ranking for being that team's rival?

Ah I see, well I can at least control one of the factors, and it seems to be going well so far :) although I'm sure the longer I stay in league III the more chance I will become someone's rival :p. Thanks for the answers!

I see you won and lost by twelve against Restless Style. You are close on number of wins and league position. If you both stay up, it looks good for a bitter two-way rivalry next season :)
