That isn''t very good advice in my opinion... Why would he want a crappy 3 skilled beast that eats his money? Also none of those players have an even remote chance at making the U21 NT for America. Personally i would just burn all three of them with fire...

Fire the first one right away before you have to pay him salary, he ain't worth anything.

Depending on your plans, you could train the other 2 guys. Your main players are getting there in age, and since you don't have other trainees, training new ones (that are salary efficient unlike most on the TL for a decent price) could be a good idea. The 3rd guy you could train to be a defensive/passing big man, who could function pretty well in motion offense. Train him ID/RB/SB/PA and he'll be a cheap, great defender while not being a liability on offense since he can pass.

The 2nd one has good starting C skills, but really bad secondaries. I suggest you train him and then sell him.

Thanks. I am really having trouble with the draft My first four years I got great players
- A All-time Gret potential Point Guard who I sold for 300 000
-My Current starting SF
-My Current 6th man SG
- A PF with great potential who I sold for 600 000

Then my past two years I have gotten just terrible players.
-Wilbur Choate my triple backup PF/C/SF
- And the three guys who I posted about earlier.

Why is this happening? I think my problem may be that now I spend about 2 scouting points a week and buy both 10 point things Group Demonstration and Scouting Combine then I have about two weeks left that I spend 4 scouting points and scout the best players that are 5 star 18 yo. I dont remember what I used to do I think I didn't do the scouting combine. What is the best way to scout and get 5/5 ball draftees.

Well theres' a lot of luck involved with drafting. It requires a big investment (~300k), and there's a good possibility you don't get that money back with the players you draft. Even if you do manage to scout a good draftee, you need a good drafting spot and some luck the guys before you don't draft him.

What I would do is save for a draft in which you have a high pick (for example when you sell your players and rebuild, or promote and thus have a a top 3 pick). If you don't have a top 5 pick, don't suse any draft points. It's ok to keep buying them because they carry on to next season. And don't buy more than 2 scouting points per week, because they become more expensive if you buy more (10k each if you buy 4 as oppose to 5k each when you buy 1 or 2).

If you do go for the draft, I think doing a combine first, and only if there's 10 or more 18y olds with 1/2 balls a demonstration. Search for players that are listed as SF as they usually have more skillpoints for their salary, or tall guys listed as guards/small guys listed as big, because they have good secondaries. Then pray.

What is the best way to scout and get 5/5 ball draftees.

Save up scouting points until you have at least 59, more if you also want to consider 4-star draftees.
Do the group workout (10 points) and individually scout all of the rest (29 points). That leaves at least 20 points, with which you can interview the most talented (5 star) prospects.There aren't likely to be more than 10 5-stars, so you should be able to interview them all. In this method I'd skip the combine since you will get height and age from the interview and you don't care about the information on anyone who doesn't have a high enough star rating to be invited to an interview.

Then, of course, finish last in your league so you can actually draft the best player rather than just watch him go to someone else who only spent half or less of that on the draft and happened to get lucky.

Salary was already paid this week, and there's a scrimmage on Thursday. I'd go ahead and play him in a non-training position and then fire him afterwards - this training update will have everyone's GS locked to 7, so there's no need to play a starter, and injuries in this game aren't reset.

unless game shape depends on the minutes of the last two weeks, when it is updated. then it makes sense to give your starters some minutes so they will be in good shape after the training update next week
