One thing I've noticed, is that when you make big expansions it tends to take shorter than the estimate. The two times I've made huge expansions of my arena, It took shorter than the anticipated amount of time.

If it estimates 8 days, and I have 8 days until a home game, it will take 9.
If it estimates 11 days, and I have 13 days until a home game, it will take 14.

This is expected, so when it happens I am not disappointed. ;)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Plus it more or less simulates real life. More often than not, construction projects usually never finish the exact time the estimate is

Like the next tunnel for the hydro plant in Niagara Falls. It was supposed to be done 2 years ago or something, and they are barely 1/3 through. At least we don't get charged extra for our arena for taking longer time.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Canada isn't even half bad. In Greece (where I was born) they said they were making this rather large interstate highway and estimated to be done in 2013, so this year, but in reality they have hardly even started. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't done in 5 years. The workers there are lazy, so we should be happy that in the BB world the estimation is better than the ones in Greece at least :)

They built a road here in Brisbane and said stage 1 done June on year, stage 2 done Nov same year and final stage feb the next year. sign was up for ages and then they pulled it down just before the date of final stage and then finished it a year later and made a big deal about having ti done 6 months ahead of time. must of been the new time they came up with the week before.......
