Thank you very much, I feel a lot more relieved. I'll just be patient and put faith into my arena.

No problems, you should be cash positive going into the playoffs.

Remember you will need about 1 weeks wages during the off season where you won't get any income.

Just looking at your game, you had a rise in attendance and won your home TV match convincingly, well done, now there are 4 teams with the same record. Just get your pricing right and it should be no worries.

I would suggest building more bleacher and courtside seats after some time.. Rising ticket prices is not a good idea in the middle of the year if your not winning, But can you try it to obtain funds in the mean time to build your arena a little bit bigger.

You might have to sell someone or fire .If this doesn't not ease your ills

Sound advice. ;)

Any chance you could explain in more depth? I'm keen to learn.

I wouldn't raise the price of your lower tier seats, but you could raise your bleachers to 9 and courtside and boxes a bit (further).

Then look at your staff, we can't see it but you can save money there if you got expensive ones. I'd say an Advanced trainer and a competent Doctor/PR Manager would suffice. You can get better when your cash flow improves.

If you're still low in cash flow, you might want to sell one of your C's for a cheap backup one. Your payroll is a bit high for your income.

I am now $250,000 in debt and I don't know why. My finances have gone slowly downhill. If you guys don't think it will correct itself then I will be forced to tear down and rebuild. Help!

What are you paying for staff / scouting per week? Although people picking up ridiculously high salary players is the primary culprit of financial woes, one that's often underestimated is paying too much for staff.

My revenues as a team with a handful of defeats is ~230k I would assume yours is close to that. You have 162k (rough) worth of salaries on 9 players, whom dont have the best GS amongst the top half. The salary itself isn't completely unsustainable (i have over 180k in D.IV and make about 15k a week), but i struggle to see the benefit of having as much salary on that many players, especially if it costs you some gameshape.

I would then invest some time in understanding how to effectively get your gameshape on your best guys to consistantly hit 8. It's hard to get them at 9 100% of the time, but it's definitely easy enough to not be sitting at a 6. Gameshape has a significant impact on the way your players perform, and i'd say you're losing at minimum 10% of your maximum production potential on the 6's. Long story short: better potential = better performance = less need for as much salary.

I would then understand how to TIE a lot of games and keep your enthusiasm up. With banked enthusiasm, you'll have extra drive against similar opponents.

If you manage gameshape and bank enthusiasm, then the need for 160k in salary costs diminishes some, and allows you to go further with less. That would be my first goal if i were you.

As far as the staff goes, It mostly depends on if you are training that lone 20 year old. If you are, then mix your lineup up and grab another one, one trainee is a waste of a trainer. If you are not training the 20 year old and are just using him for what he is, then dump your trainer for a 2k level 1 trainer. You dont need to waste money on a trainer for FT/Stam/Gameshape training. Doctor isn't that relevant although i prefer massage for easier gameshape management, and even then a level 2 is sufficient. PR is only relevant to me if it has national appeal or crowd involvement, and again only at a level 2 capacity in D.IV.

If you are draft scouting and saving up money there, then stop doing scouting. you're amongst the top in your league, no sense in going draftee hunting when you likely wont get your first pick or two.

If you are going more red weekly still after tticket prices change, i'd at that point finally make the decision to start selling off some of your rental parts.
